horses in oblivion, I don't know why i just never used them
Probably because A) You can easily fast travel just about anywhere and B) Even if you don't, it only takes about an hour to get from one side of the map to the other on foot (less if you have decent athletics skill.) Also, they have a tendency to run away/die when attacked, and you can't fight from their backs. In other words, they're a huge waste of money, though there's not much else to spend it on anyway.
Except for the horse you get as part of the Dark Brotherhood storyline which can be infinetely resurrected and makes a pretty decent pack mule.

fallout 3 mines
i made an explosives expert character once, i used bottlecap mines almost exclusively. with maxed explosives and the perk that upgrades explosives maxed as well, a single bottle cap mine could kill a deathclaw. so easy.

on topic: every gun in CoD:WaW except the MP40

It really bugged me how you barely had to use magic at all in Kingdom Hearts 2. That game was a big letdown for me in general.

Did anyone really use the 10mm pistol in Fallout 3 at all after getting another weapon? Compared to most other guns, it's a pea shooter.
I did. It was the best handgun not including the magnum
OP: I would have to say the Smoke Grenade Launcher in Battlefield Bad Company 2, I've never seen anyone but me use it.

USEFUL Paladins in any RPGs.
My paladin in Diablo 2 is own.

Also, my vanilla WoW pally could take 3 equal level enemies in PVP.

Grenades in Alien Hominid.
I would never use them ever, until I remembered at each boss fight that I had them.

I've used it once, but I found there wasn't much of a point. Whenever I see a cloud of smoke I just spam the back button at it and tag anyone who was attempting to use it to hide their movements.
Then I shoot them.

The Experimental MIRV in Fallout 3, only useful for taking your frustrations out on the whole of Megaton
There is this mod on the pc that gives you a GECK launcher.
I used it once and found out that it not only kills you but everything else.

that weapon became the only weapon I never used against a enemy.

The knife in Resident Evil games, seriously in the third one it takes over 100 attacks from that thing just to knock out Nemesis, wouldn't a shotgun be a lot faster guys?
Also the spear in God of War 2, I'm sorry but why do I have this when my blades can do more damage and are faster? Oh because it looks kinda cool, that makes everything better.

very[/b] stingy with my money in Oblivion.
I kinda do the same in TES 3, except it goes like thus:
Equip Dark Brotherhood armor, find awesome gear, turns out it's being worn, kill wearer, take gear, teleport to Caldera, sell to Creeper, rinse, repeat.

I now have over 850k on my character.
Total spent: 4k

I'd say the shotgun attachment is even more underused
I LOVE the smoke launcher though, in fact I use the extra 'nades spec with it just so I can spam like hell :D

Snip. I admit, I did generally use other weapons more often, except for the hunting rifle. That weapon sucked.
That might have been the gun I used the most. A lot was probably just me having a love for bolt-action rifles but also for the "Ho ho ho, I'm gonna go hunt me some muties!" feeling that came with it!

The shield in Prototype.

Really, how many people actually used this thing? It blocks your vision, only works from the front, and doesn't take much damage before being destroyed. It's much easier to just jump over most attacks then to block them with the damn shield.
YES. The shield was a useless piece of shit.
It rocked.. You could charge people with it, even tanks..
