Any EMP weapon can do that, and I used Multi-tools or the EMP-drone for that. It was just...dissapointing.zauxz said:Not if you are stealthy. You can disable cameras/turrets with it.Samuel_of_Saruan said:The Railgun from Deus Ex: Invisible war.
A lot of hype around it, there was even a mission to retrieve the prototype. But with little ammo and lousy accuracy it really wasn't as good as they said it was.
with you i must agree. I also didnt care too much for the xray sniper rifle, i could never tell if what i was looking at was behind a wall or not.Proteus214 said:I found the Slayer in Perfect Dark to be pretty damn useless in a multiplayer situation. I'll second that. I've never been more disappointed in my pants than when i first fired the zodiac. It might have been worth it if only it was an insta-kill, but half the enemies in the game survive its attack. Yeah but its sure as hell better than Red VS Blue's Gauss cannon that stalls the warthog after every shot.Puddle Jumper said:Usually its the railguns because they're strong but very, very slow
I actually found the missile launcher much worse than the fatman. Seriousely, they seem to do very little damage on anything but much weaker enemies, and my big guns skill is very high.zala-taichou said:I concur. Sure, it was fun breaking it out every now and then and nuking something into radioactive oblivion, but most of the time it just sat in my house and looked pretty.
Too heavy, too much splash damage, and too little ammo to be of any real use to me.
Haha, nice reference. Red versus Blue is awesome.Supreme Unleaded said:Yeah but its sure as hell better than Red VS Blue's Gauss cannon that stalls the warthog after every shot.Puddle Jumper said:Usually its the railguns because they're strong but very, very slow
But it took care of grunts pretty well!ThatZombieGuy said:The rocket launcher from the original Half-Life. Long load time + One shot+ Not much ammo= One crap gun
Dr Namgge said:It wasn't so much that it was a bad gun, more that it was slow to charge, and only carried four shots. While it could wipe out all enemies on screen in one shot, for the amount of enemies to ever bother you, you'd probably do it a lot quicker with about ten to twenty RYNO shots. Add in to that that the Zodiac costs 2,500,000 bolts compared to the RYNO's still hefty but nowhere near as bad 1,000,000 bolts, and the fact that one bullet for the Zodiac costs 10,000, and you can't just find a refill anywhere like you can with every other weapon, and the gun, while powerful, is just not cost effective.orangebandguy said:I knew someone would say it, yes the zodiac wasn't very good was it?Generator said:The Zodiac in Ratchet & Clank Going Commando was supposed to be the best gun, but its predecessor, the RYNO II, is far better. Lol, that was an awesome multiplayer weapon. The computer players didn't really know that you shouldn't fire at a closed door though... lol.Proteus214 said:I found the Slayer in Perfect Dark to be pretty damn useless in a multiplayer situation. Drone Cannon sucks, but the drone cannon ex-b was very useful for crippling melee enemies, such as deathclaws or reavers. Outside of VATS that is.Shadowfaze said:Fallout 3 mothership zeta:
the drone cannon. seriously, it couldnt be any more useless if it was shooting air and kisses.
Yeah, I first got it on that one ice world, and it killed half of the yetis and took about half of the health from the sea creature thing that was onscreen. Terrible, terrible last gun.grimsprice said:I'll second that. I've never been more disappointed in my pants than when i first fired the zodiac. And then this was another reason it sucked so bad.ShredHead said:Also it's terrible against bosses, it takes out the tiniest bit of health.
The Spartan Laser can't be considered an uber weapon, Halo set out to create weapon balancing, so the Spartan Laser only has five shots, and it takes about a full 4 seconds to fire. Sure it's uber against vehicles from afar but anyone on foot can shoot you and screw up your aiming, just like with the Sniper Rifle.TheNamlessGuy said:Isn't the spartan laser in Halo 3 a perfect example?
In my opinion, the pink-needle thingy is better

I already have something like that in Borderlands. That reminds me about another weapon. When playing Borderlands I got a rocket-launcher that shoots 5 firebomb-like shots at a time. I decide to try it out on Skagzilla. At point-blank every shot missed and hit the wall behind the enemy. The explosions did make for some lovely fireworks to watch as I died though.GothmogII said:So...you want an automatic rocket launcher with a large ammo pool? ...well, the Unreal Tournament series had a triple barreled version, but it feels a bit wimpy when you fire it.ThatZombieGuy said:The rocket launcher from the original Half-Life.
