Gah, women always get off light on sex crimes.
It's this whole mentality that 'rape is okay if a woman does it.'
I have a friend that was beaten up and raped by a woman at a night club. She got a firm talking to from the police, and wouldn't listen to what the victim had to say. That was it... It just went away.
My friend was freaking raped!
But nooo, any woman can get away with sex crime if they claim either trauma, a life threatening illness, they weren't in the right mind and hormones took over, they weren't loved as a child, they are going through menopausal depression, they're just a tad horny and couldn't control their vagina.
Pisses me off. This is getting more common place in Britain anyway, I've been victim of sexual assault from a woman (It's not as awesome as it seems, I thought so too.) Domestic violence from women are going through the roof at the moment. It's a real problem!
But relating the the article, the mother does seem incredibly dodgy... got pregnant at 14, with a man 12 years older than her? Wow. Does anyone expect any different? I hate to be a snob, but...

If female prisons are as bad as male ones, she'd probably have some ladies dealing out their own brand of justice before she left.
