Umm, while it's not my place to tell anyone what to do or where to go, save perhaps myself. I should point out that both of you have choices in the matter, I live currently with my mother, however she is under no forced situation to allow me my vagrancy, my father for instance has man is clear he is unwilling to tolerate my existence in his household. Further more have you ever heard of leaving? Admittedly you would be away from your passion, not having a computer or anything of the like but going to a half way house or some sort of other public housing is always an option, and as I understand it most libraries have fairly useful computer setups, why not use them?

Anyways, this is just what has occurred to me at the time, I have not put too much thought into it, and I wouldn't take it too seriously. Later.

Well technically, they do have a choice whether or not to raise you. At least until the conservatives ban abortions. And even then, there's foster care.

YOU, on the other hand, had no choice. You have to live under this person's custody as a second-class citizen until your life is 25% over. And you didn't ask for it. There's no reason to give respect to someone who doesn't deserve it, and punishing you for being productive in your own way is definitely not deserving of respect.

She's really a [pardon my french) ***** in this situation. Actually, she sounds like a total (again, pardon my french) ***** in any situation.

Don't let her boss you around like that. Parents don't know best, but they like to think they do. Sometimes, telling them the truth is the best way.
Are you saying parents never know best? That just isn't true, even if you use the monkey and the typewriter scenario, eventually they will say something that is right.

In this case she may be wrong or old fashioned but saying you hate her is a little harsh.

I hate my dad cos he beat my mum, that is a reason to hate. Not cos your mum took away your pc and doesn't believe in what your doing.

I often get annoyed when people say "hate is a strong word" when the opposite of hate is love and people throw that around like an STD, but in this case hate is a strong word to use, you might not like her or resent the way she treats you.

That's really too bad that she's like that, then.

And I actually didn't want to speak about any personal religious affiliatons because I wanted to avoid arguing about them.
