I love going through this topic because I read the titles people throw out and think to myself, "Hey! I love that movie!"

Oscar is quite possibly one of my favorite movies. It cemented Tim Curry as one of the loves of my life. "Dr. Pool!?!"

Another one I wish to throw out is Men At Work. I am fairly certain that only my family and the Sheen/Esteves owed a copy, and even then I don't know if they truely want to take credit for this movie. Emilio Esteves wrote, directed and starred, with his brother Charlie, in this craptastic film fest about two garbage workers who find a body in a barrel and hilarity ensues. They is also a most noteable performance by Keith David as a PTSD Vet who hates cops, and rent-a-cops too. It also gives you the true definition of Phrenology, which of course is the study of the size of Walt's a$$hole.

Idiocracy; thoroughly recommend it to any of you who haven't seen it. It's basically about man kind becoming less and less intelligent as years go on.
I remember that one, it wasn't bad. The logic behind it all made some sort of sense, which was kind of creepy.

I'd have to say "Stranger than Fiction". The only people I "know" who have seen it are the people who mentioned it on this thread.
Easily one of Will Ferral's triumphs and one of the best stories in a movie. So clever and humourous, it's one of my favorite movies.

Surf Ninjas people!

A movie with a silly and ridiculous premise, but hilarious!
And, is still to this day Rob Schneider's funniest part he's ever played.

Awake is pretty good, but it starred that Hayden Christensen fellow, which means the world and his dog have seen it.
Gotta go with Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. I know that it's basically mandatory for Escapists to see it a million times, but I randomly asked people in New York once if they'd seen either of those films, and I got one yes. ONE. This was an entire day.
Holiday boredom for the win.
Both are much more popular in Britain. Seriously, I've had so many conversations that turned into nothing but quotes from those two movies.
I know that feeling. It's absolutely made up of classic quotes. You have to love it.
"...and then hit him into the freezer."
"Did you say cool off?"
"No, actually."
"Shame."
"There was a bit you missed earlier when I distracted him with the monkey, then I said 'Playtime's over' and hit him over the head with the peace lily.
"You're off the fucking CHAIN!"

I also enjoyed comments pertaining to the positive bolognese capacity and content of substances.

Kung Fu Hustle - a hilarious Chinese film.

It actually was nominated for a golden globe but it's not really the type of movie I can mention at a party and expect many people to recognize.

Shaolin Soccer - by the same writer/director/star was also really brilliant.

More people need to see foreign films!
I love these movies, they are amazing.

I heard that there were plans of remaking Sisters, but I haven't heard of any updates recently.
Oh jeez, I really hope not :/ Most remakes of Asian movies (with the exception of A Fistful of Dollars and The Magnificent Seven, I suppose) are pretty godawful.
Update: After first writing about the Sister's remake, I went on a little search of the interwebs. This is what I found. The movie The Uninvited is the remake in question. Apparently changing the name effectively kept all the remake haters off it's case. Of course, does anyone remember actually seeing this movie? It's been out for about a year now and I don't even remember it coming to the theater, and I work at a theater.

Boondock Saints. Too few people have seen that.
I love that movie! Both of them are my favorite movies ever.
And you're right, to few have seen them, or even heard of them.
