He hates the movie, and I knew he would, though of course he does mention some vaild criticisms at points that I agre with...

But my goodness Bob if you say its a bad movie ok that's fine, but don't go as far as being such petulent child about I mean the text he writes is bafflingly ridiculous.

He comes off as a spoiled fanboy that is saying (WAH this isn't how I want my DC movie :p) then an impartial critic.

I almost cringe at reading this I am amazed I read through it all

At least the Roger Ebert Website.com review is more fair in that it highlights its pros and cons and even though it ended up with 2 and a half stars at least the review was not a completely petulant rant.

I'm still going to see the movie to make my own opinion at least. Anyone that says "this is a BAD game/movie" to me is questionable unless I see it for myself and form my own opinion on it.

I have been told that Silent Hill Downpour is an average/mediocre game and not worthy of carrying the torch of the first 3 games, but then I played it and found it to be REALLY GOOD!!!

I have been told that Prince of Persia Sands of Time was a Masterpiece, A tour de force game that pushes the gaming industry to new heights. But then I finally played it, and just found it average and shallow.

You might as well ask water to stop being wet or fire to turn down the heat a little. Whiny fan boy manchild is Bob's schtic. To expect anything else from him is kind of silly...

When is he not ever angry? Moviebob has the biggest fanboy quality about him that it's quite pathetic to see. If he hates something, he won't just say it once but will beat it to death for years to come.

I get it, you dislike something. Perfectly fine, but if you dislike something so much, do you need to focus on it more and shout about it for months and months and years even. I hate my job, it doesn't mean I have to scream about it day in and day out for years to come. Too much hate is unhealthy.

Now, with this movie, if you love it, brilliant, if you dislike it, even more brilliant. Why? Because not everyone is programmed to like the same thing no matter what critics and reviewers may or may not suggest. So if you enjoy something that people disliked, still enjoy it. If you disliked something that everyone loved, just be open and honest and move on to something you may enjoy. Just don't beat people over the head and abuse them just because they liked or disliked something you liked or disliked.

It's not the be all and end all of personal taste and opinions. We aren't hive minds no matter how much some dark and twisted people want us to be.

Free thought is good.

I don't really like Bob's new way of reviewing. In reviews like this one and pixel he seems to just fill in half the review with him insulting the movie a lot . Its seems unprofessional. Just keep it at why the movies bad

Can't quote since I'm on my phone, but funny he says he wasn't that angry since Transformers, apparently he forgot about new Spiderman 2.
Now I am just flining accusations against him but I am going to say it.

Probably because the concequence of Amazing Spiderman 2 is that Sony basically gave the rights back to Marvel so now Spiderman is in the MCU and since he is obviously a Marvel fanboy why would he not be estatic about that. I mean when it was revealed that Spiderman is coming in the MCU he changed his twitter profile picture with a Newspaper saying "He's Back" referring to Spiderman.

Did you know that his Pixel review had attracted like a million views and some new article and a radioshow mention his review aswell? I think this could get a similar attention.

Overall, it only just reinforce my view on not going to cinema at all. It ain't getting my cash (especially when I read the ending, sound like they are going to do ANOTHER REBOOT).

I admit both DC and Marvel movies will never be as good as their original comic books AND Animated Adaptions.

Even the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeves with its John Williams theme and decent characters is inferior compared to the Superman cartoons of the 1940s and the Superman Animated Series of the 1990s.

Spiderman the Animated Series I admit is even better than the Sam Raimi movies.

The internet loves a good rant and over-reaction to something. Just look at some popular YouTube channels. I Hate Everything, Your Movie Sucks, Channel Awesome(kinda), Jim Sterling, A Dose of Buckley, and quite a few others. All have over four hundred thousand subscribers and get a large amount of views on every video.

Bob's most likely trying to hit up that market. He may actually be mad about it, but saying "the movie is the biggest disappointment of my life and needs to die in a fire" will attract more clicks than "this movie was a disappointment."

Good riddance to that. Nothing I saw there justifies the attitude.

That is kind of Bob's schtick these days: playing at the angry self important nerd by actually being the angry self important nerd instead of it being an mostly an act as per Doug Walker or James Rolfe. I'm sure there are legit criticisms in there but it's too wrapped up in DC making movies themed in their characters being iconic rather than Marvel's tactic of putting good guys in funny suits to fight aliens and tell jokes.

So he's taking greater offence that the movie exists rather than its quality?

Does someone else finds this creepy?
I don't believe that anyone (even Sony or Marvel) knew Spider-Man was going to Marvel at the time of his Amazing Spider-Man 2 review. In fact, a lot of the reason he hated the movie so much was that he felt so much of it was sacrificing a good movie in favor of being a simple message to investors of "See all the stuff we [Sony] are throwing together for future years!" But personally, it doesn't surprise me at all he hates Dawn of Justice, since all the previews seem to indicate everything MovieBob hated about Amazing Spider-Man 2, even down to the message to investors. I also remember him liking Man of Steel only marginally better than Transformers, a movie he still seems to be finding ways to rant about even years after the fact.
