Actually, I generally enjoyed Shrek 2 more than the first, though I can't pinpoint exactly why since it's been a while. I do remember declaring it the ideal party movie, however, and out of nostalgia I stand by that.Vrex360 said:As far as I'm concerned there is only ONE Shrek movie. There only ever needed to be one Shrek movie, just one to parody the fairytale dynamic by putting an ogre in the lead which was of course the original reason the movie was made.
Now it's just a bunch of movies made for kids with obvious adult humour, point is that it's lost it's charm and as much as I liked the first one (and guiltily enjoying the second) I refuse to acknowledge the third one and the fourth one I am denying all existance of to forever hold onto the beloved memories I had back when Shrek was still good.

also, that supposed 2nd darko film and mortal kombat films. Both of them, don't even lie. The 1st was pretty cheesy. OH and double dragon!! God, that film was terrible.
also i feel like i missed another movie DRAGONBALL!!!! shit, just came to me. i wasted 2 hours of my life to watch that. and i don't regret it, arguably one of the worst films of all time.
If he did, he would love The Bends since Pitchfork gave it a perfect Radiohead out of Radiohead.cannibalnana said:Sentinel10 said:Also, I love Radiohead's first album, OK Computer.
but the bends and pablo honey were amazing albums. have you been reading pitchfork?
GT? What is this GT you speak of? All I remember is a GIANT GOLDEN MONKEY!NghtmaresXNoVaKaiNe said:Dragonball GT never happened. The plausibility of Goku becoming younger was one in infinity...make it not possible in my mind.
And Batman Beyond was kinda cool IMO.
Those two movies destroyed everything the first one stood for. I'm not sure where they started going wrong..... maybe it was that they ruined the third one by trying to make it overdone with how silly it could get. As for the second, where's Rico? First was unique, everything after was a disaster.Greyfox105 said:Well... two come to mind.
Starship Troopers 2 and 3.
Specifically number 3. It wasn't a Starship Troopers film.
It was an advertising campaign for religion.
And that kinda finished the job that the second film started...
Only the first one was good. The second had its good parts, though few they were.
Three, basically none...
i lol'd pretty hard. i guess somebody needs moar pitchfork.Small Waves said:If he did, he would love The Bends since Pitchfork gave it a perfect Radiohead out of Radiohead.cannibalnana said:Sentinel10 said:Also, I love Radiohead's first album, OK Computer.

Same here. I actually liked Cooler much better then Frieza.Saarai-fan said:Yeah, the majority of the DBZ movies weren't needed. Heck, the overwhelming majority of them can't even fit into the canon of the show's timeline. I did like a few of them though.
Do you have any idea why so many Gundam fans hate SEED? I have not watched any of the spinoff Gundam shows yet (meaning non-Universal Century ones), so I am not informed on the matter.Gundam Seed is my favorite Gundam series, next to Gundam Wing as second and Gundam 00 in third. I also include Gundam Seed Destiny along in with the orginal Seed anime. Gundam fans shouldn't hate Seed.
Actually, you preety much described 4Kids`s treatment of Yu-Gi-Oh. Not only did they do that, they even changed entire plot points and removed things from the show for the most arbitrary reasons.Yu-gi-oh could be tollerated as it's mostly a kids show, but One Piece had great fight scenes and stuff in it. It was in a sense, raped and ruined by 4Kids entertainment when they took care of the english dub. And once Funimation took over the dubbing and distribution rights, it was too late to save it's awesomeness for the majority of the public.
I don't know. A lack of action does not make it terrible in itself. I mean, the whole purpose of it was to show a side of the war that was otherwise neglected. The reason I say War in the Pocket was terrible is mainly because you didn't get to see much Gundam action in it and it was too short. I however won't say it should be considered non-existant as it's part of the storyline of the orginal Gundam series.
