Are we counting movies that make no mention of religion at all?
The problem is, every time someone does make a movie that questions christian beliefs, the crazy fundamentalists get all up in arms and protest it.
Also, the purpose of movies is to sell tickets (except during oscar season. Then the purpose is to be pretentious). And unfortunately, the majority of americans belong to some version of christianity. So that end is often best served by not questioning the target demo's belief system.
