Terminator 4. I mean everyone else was like "It's ok." but that movie has to be one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. I mean, really it's not a good movie and it definitely wasn't a Terminator movie. I mean it was just a movie with good actors and special effects. The story was pretty dumb and the action didn't really suck me in like it should. There was something missing from it. It was just a crappy action movie with a crappy story and robots. Terminator 2 was one of the best movies I've ever seen though.

You tell me one person who thought that was a good movie and I will personally punch them square in the face. That was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

This.

The songs were poorly written and poorly sung. The blood effects were really bad; it looked like soup. People tell me that its "artistic" - no, its not. It just looks like soupy pink blood. The only thing I like about that film was watching Helena Bonham Carter getting shoved into a fire.

Lord of the Rings trilogy. Bad acting, predictable plot, terrible character design (and I'm not anti-fantasy, but this was just STUPID), visible computerized SFX (ok, Gollum had interesting facial expressions. But the way he appeared was just reminescent of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. and so on. Only thing I liked were the landscapes.

Borat. They told someone to act like an annoying mustached racist cuntflap, and put a candid camera. Even I could come up with the 'gags' they used, but I don't, because I have a sense of decency and respect. I watched the first 20 minutes, then sighed and raged. Worthless 'movie', and the people who liked it are worthless too.

Can't think of any others immediately right now...

It weren't the songs written which I didn't like, as I like the original musical it was based on, but the singers were terrible and in comparison to the original musical, it was over the top on blood and gore which just made it illogical.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I cannot understand a word that Bale says when he is in costume. The female lead was terrible in both films not to mention Maggie is not attractive. I did not like Ledger's attempt at Joker. The action is too heavily edited. Why are people interested in characters just because they are surrounded by a dark atmosphere?

You hit the nail on the head with the Transformers thing, I agree completely. But my undying love for you at that point managed to die when you mentioned that you dislike Star Wars.

Star Wars is the greatest mover ever....right guys? Right?

Borat was based on a character from skits, the guy who did it apparently periodically invents a new persona and then milks it accross the spectrum of media. In this case it didn't work out that well for a full movie. Borat is funnier in doses.

It should also be noted that it wasn't even remotely racist, understand that for all of the things he says and does, the movie is more or less making fun of Borat for being a moron at the same time.

I mean come on, how seriously can you take his anti-semitic rants when he's afraid they are going to shapechange with their "magical jew powers" and get him? :)

The Spiderman series. First one was almost tolerable, but the second was utter, unadulterated drivel. I never saw 3.

Lol, I didn't say they were bad, just I couldn't understand the hype surrounding them, nor why they needed to make the first(last?){1,2,3} ones.
And another one I remembered, WALLE.

Benjamin Button. Everyone told me that it was awesome and the greatest movies they had ever seen and I thought that it was average at best. Maybe I'm not artsy enough but I never found it very compelling. My favorite part of it was the captain dude that was on fringe.

I know the plot in one of the greatest fantasy books of al time totally sucks, right?
And in defense of the CGI, it was made in 2001, so for the time they were amazing, and still stand up very well by today's standards. Im, not a LOTR fanboy, I can think of many criticisms of the films, but I don't think the plot and the CGI can be one of them without very good reason.
