Bullet in the head. Sounds horrible, but it is probably the best vietnam war film ever.

Watch it on youtube, seriously.

John Woo? it started as a prequel to A Better Tomorrow, seems it took a life of its own.

My personal John Woo favorite is, and always will be, Hooray for Chivarly! is not as technically savy as, say, Lashou Shentan, or The Killer, but it is SO charming, and evocative of a long gone age...

Has anyone seen Zardoz, starring Sean Connery? It's a real head trip.
Sean Connery in an orange diaper, a giant head vomiting guns, and a guy that could be Barry Manillow's lost twin pulling a cart. Yeah, that is what happens when you spend all your budget money in prostitutes and speed... however, it was the 70's after all, so I think no one was really bothered

Sword of Doom, Tatsuya nakadai is the ultimate bad-ass in that flick. A violent samurai epic which meditates in the nature of bloodlust, predestination and the karma motive.

Pandorum

A great sci fi movie that you really can't predict, that's what made it so good for me.

Hmm...how about Martyrs, Inside, Zoo or Antichrist? All are pretty good, but not too sure.

For me? The Baader Meinhof Complex (recent German film about the Red Army Faction and a thought provoking view into the minds of terrorists), Pandora's Box (foreign silent film from the 20's... featured one of the world's first flappers so I guess there's a bit of history behind it), Fido (less obscure, but I'm just hoping someone will say "Oh, I've seen that movie!" so I can add them as a friend because if you have you are amazing.), Whatever Works (or any Woody Allen movie, for that matter. Kids these days just don't appreciate Woody Allen like they should), and Adam (excellent indie drama that was so much better than Paper Heart which got more publicity than it needed to). I have a bunch that the people I know in real life haven't seen, but the Escapist is probably more familiar with such as Everything is Illuminated, Traitor (such and underrated movie), and Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Fido? Is that the one with the zombies? If not I'm going to look a fool, but I have to ask!

Martyrs tries waaay too hard, however, the french-chinese girl in there is incredibly beautiful, Zoo, is that the bestiality docu? ripped way too much from Errol Morris, but was interesting nonetheless.

Antichrist I hated with a passion,(von Trier should have retired after The Element of Crime), the second most pretencious movie I have seen in my life (and I sat trough the whole Peter Greenaway filmography) I even made a mock review on youtube that turned into a pretty amusing e-mail flame war with a bunch of hipster doofuses...

Fido was ok, I guess, saw it the same night I saw Deadgirl, and that one is WAAAAY better and smarter

Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Strangelove]

Please, PLEASE someone prove me wrong!
I've seen it. Named my German Shepherd Merkwurdigliebe. I believe it is on Hulu...

One of the best satires/ black comedies. Directed by Stanley Kubrick (2001: Space Odyssey/Full Metal Jacket/Lolita/A Clockwork Orange) starring Slim Pickens (Blazing Saddles) George C Scott (Patton) and Petter Sellers (Pink Panther/The Ladykillers (1955)). You, Sir, are wrong.

Ah, no. Zoo is a collection of Japanese short horror movies. It's rather good.

Mind linking your review? I hadn't seen many reviews on Antichrist (Which I found 'meh' but I thought not many had seen it).

Deadgirl? Haven't heard of it. Think I'll look it up.

I know which film you say. I also recomend the bestiality docu. The review is in spanish, so I don't know how useful it may be, it is somewhere in the blog we use for reviews and garbage like that

Another one:

I Come With the Rain, latest opus by Tran Ahn Hung, Elias Koteas, Josh Harnett, Takuya Kimura and the great, great, great Byung Hun Lee (of A Bittersweet Life fame and tragically wasted in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) a simply masterful movie about serial killers, korean mafia, flesh sculptures and the reincarnated messiah

Idiocracy

Every time I mention this movie people think Im crazy
Haha, that movie is awesome. The ending is kind of weak, but the first hour had me literally rolling on the floor laughing.
Same here especially the family tree part.

District 9.

Seems like one of those films that, whilst being one of the best films ever, won't be watched because everyone thinks it's just like every other alien film. When it is not; it reflects the apartheid that occurred in South Africa not too long ago.

I doubt many people have watched Hudson Hawk. The only time I've heard anyone in the world refer to it is I believe Moviebob, and such would be expected. I would be greatly pleased to hear otherwise. It was released likely before I was born.
Seen it. It's bad, but not Razzie-award-winning bad. I don't know why everyone loathes this film so much, it's no worse than Norbert or New York Minute.
I didn't think it was bad, I loved Hudson Hawk. Deliberately goofy, I figured it.
