The closest I've ever come to crying at a movie was Terminator 2. When they lowered the big guy into the smelting pit... I felt like I too had lost a bad ass "emotions and pain are for pussies" father figure.

To the best of my memory I don't think I've cried at any films. I remember being damn close watching the Green Mile though.

As ridiculous as this sounds, Chicken Little when Chicken Little gets the homerun and his dad's proud of him

None of you lie, mofo's.

Also, for a nice, nerdly forum - the Futurama episode 'Jurassic Bark'. How dare they!? What a mean trick to pull in sit-com, let alone a cartoon. Almost as bad as

If there is one movie that reciently moved me to tears, it would be Wall-e. It was like being a little kid again, watching the first Pokemon movie.

I've never cried during a movie, but I got close at the end of "The Last Samurai".
Completely forgot about that movie, but I'm going with a definite yes on that for me. Such a good movie.

There are a surprising amount of threads about crying . Weird.
Given the amount of threads about "Being a man" and "Being a woman", it was pretty obvious it was coming. ;)

Ooh! I remember seeing Castaway when I was about 7. When Wilson floated away, I cried.

The Mummy Dragon Emperor Thingy when the main dude got owned by the spear and had that mini conversation with his son after he got healed. But alas, the movie sucked. Flame me.

6th and 7th Harry Potter books. Not any of the HP movies, those sucked too.

Air Bud, I think, its been like 10 years, so I don't remember much.

I Am Legend. The dog and the suckage ending.

The Phantom of the Opera, the first episode of Pokemon when Pikachu was an asshole (when I was.. 8? 10? Can't remember), Children of Men.. Um. Cried in an episode of CSI: Las Vegas.

I'm sure there's more. I do get my girly-girl moments. XD

^I had a similar experience with the "Superman Overture" when it was released in Superman Returns...

...but it was ruined when the uncultured ingrate sitting next to me uttered the words "Boy, glad that's over..."

I nearly killed the man on the spot right then and there.
Yep- that is absolutely fantastic- particularly the music coupled with the planets and stars and stuff whizzing by.

I must say, one of the most powerful movie moments for me was when
the One Ring got destroyed in Return of the King..... Seeing Sauron come tumbling down and explode was simply wonderful...

I was just so overjoyed at that moment... and then
Gandalf cried
, so I had no choice but to join in!
