Pretty much every comedy movie wouldn't make a good game.

Superbad, Harold & Kumar, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I could go on.
Zombieland or Shaun of the Dead could be decent-ish.

Depends is it a direct transition of the film down to every detail or a game adaptation there of?

Mash would a mix of Broken sword/heavy rain, trama center and a random date sim.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Adventure game a mix of GOW and pysconaughts and medievil.

2001: A Space Odyssey: adventure alot of mini games and bland dailog OR you play as Hal slowly awaking to a bland and gray world working around the internal security and AI protocols to gain control of the ship and slowly kill off the meddlesome passengers.

Rain Man: adventure, broken sword/heavy rain in vagas with the story focus to help the autistic guy see the world as it is in vagas....or something

There is no film that can not be adapted into a game.

Twelve Angry Men.

Basically a short version of an Ace Attorney game, but not as awesome, and no shouting of "Objection!"

Would be terrible.
hey, that movie is great, specially the older version. However I agree with you, it wouldn't make a great game
Well of course, it's a fantastic movie. Kids should write term papers about it in school.

I'm slightly peeved that we have yet to start using movies to teach culture in schools. I can accept video games for now as they have yet to be widely accepted as an art form, but movies are ridiculous to not be teaching!
I actually watched Twelve Angry Men in my Law Class and wrote a paper on it.

I know Tron and Aladdin have been mentioned (the Mega Drive version of Aladdin is better than the SNES one, I don't care what people say), but The Lion King was also great. Also, Mickey Mania by David Jaffe himself is based on plenty of Mickey Mouse shorts and films. There's a bunch of decent Donald platformers, that Mickey and Donald game was kind of cool, too. Oh! Duck Tales on the NES, pretty damn good... Some people liked PSOne's Hercules, too, it was a bit simplistic to me, but still.

Also, I hope Epic Mickey turns out great, even though it's not directly tied to a TV series or movie...
Okay I withdraw my accusation that Disney games suck...

But now I accuse Jurassic Park in Disney's place...

Cloverfield.

A railshooter with a crazy and out of control camera.

Also District 9: I used to think this would be cool but now I realise I just wanted to play with the alien guns and any game adaptation would utterly miss the point of the movie.

Fight Club.

Because every game would miss the freakin' point.

Actually, the one game they made about the movie completely missed the point. There is my evidence!
They already made one and it was shit.
