The only one I can think of is Meangirls. I'm not sure what the general opinion on this is, so I'm keeping it secret til I figure it out.
I was surprised too, I had a really good laugh watching it.

White Oleander. I really loved that movie, but I can only imagine the looks I'd get from my "friends" (more semester colleagues) once they would know what it is about...

Actually, his gun is called "The Samaritan". I love Hellboy too, I just got the special edition dvd awhile ago, and I can't wait for the new movie!

And I really liked Cloverfield too.

Save the Last Dance, anyone? Julia Stiles is cute as a button, and I don't care if the movie is your by-the-numbers, young love angst tale, I love it.
Also, Cloverfield. I'll admit I had to choke back a little bit of a tear at the ending.

Eragon - Yeah it's cut and paste fantasy by so what? It came in such a pretty package and could carry itself from start to finish.

Stay Alive - Very enjoyable horror film in the end, even though it was low budget and kinda cheesy it managed not to drown in the stupidity of its premises

Snakes on a Plane - I lol'd @ Sam Jackson in this one, but no one seemed to like it.
I Am Legend - Some bad animation on the zombie things, but I still thought it was a decent movie.
Hulk Movie 3 years ago......jk that movie was terrrrrrrible.
Breakfast Club - Kind of a chicks movie, but I still thought it was relevant

Bring It On and Bring It On Again, american teen movies about a cheerleading squad going to the finals and about how they win and how they get the one the love and all that.

Total chick-flick, and i for some reason love them, they are extremely girly, and im a big boned bloke, the thing that really doesnt add up with it all is the fact that im straight.

Yeah, there are cheerleaders in it, but thats not why i like them, i actually like the story and the art and stuff in it :/

Oh! I love that movie, just seen the first but it's awesome! I forgot that one! I love the dance instructor, he's SO cool.
Shame.
idd :/

If anyone's going to win the award for worst taste it'll be me, because this is at the top of my list:

High School Musical

Yes. Yes I liked it. For what it was - which was an over-the-top, ridiculously cheesy teen musical thing - it was great. Awesome choreography, and the chemistry between the two leads is something any director would KILL for. Also:

Jumper (just a little ashamed)
Matrix: Reloaded (I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it like some people did)

And several other Disney-related movies such as:

Sky High
Phil of the Future (TV show, but whatever)
Some other Disney Channel movies that escape me at the moment.

I feel like I should list off my top favorite movies now to redeem myself, but I think I'll just leave it at that.
you truly do have the worst taste :p but I think Reloaded was at least better than Revolutions and they are way better sci-fi's that star wars easily.

Love, Actually. What would make it bad for me is that I watch it alone, which people would think is weird.
do not be ashamed that movie roved that romantic comedies can be good, hilarious and have somewhat touching stories. I felt really sorry for the guy who like who keira nightly played (i hate keira tho)

no should can know i watch adult movies for the plot. Damn that pool boy is just so sweaty and his struggle to be refreshed is edge of your seat drama.

I would also like to admit i think Steven Spielberg is a terrible director.

Two words: TIME BANDITS.

Time travelling midget treasure hunters meet up with an everyday kid while running from god, wander through time, and end up killing the personification of evil.

I still think that it's awesome.

Runners up include Shoot Em' Up, Hot Shots Part Deux, and everything by Segal or Van Damme.

- Starship Troopers. It has everything. Violence, aliens, cow mutilation, right wing sympathies, even tits. The characters have all the acting talent of wooden dummies, but that just adds to the flavor of it all.
Quoted for Truth.

I'm also a fan of The Mummy series, but for some reason, noone I know agrees with me :(

Edit: I also liked the Doom movie. Even though it was one of those in name only movies.

I thought Cloverfield was great too, I don't know why a lot of people hate it.
I also loved Shoot 'Em Up, but I thought that one was generally well recieved.

And to my supreme embarrassment, I am a fan of Disney's Enchanted. Burn my man-card if you must, those songs are CATCHY!

Those were all awesome movies especially time bandits (what could be better than migdets traveling through time?) but I never heart of Hot Shots Part Deux.

Mortal Kombat (I really thought this movie was welldone), Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (I went in wanting to see Cloud and the gang back and wooping butt, and that's exactly what I got...only flashier), Cutie Honey (The live-action adaption rocks my socks) and Hard to Kill (Steven Seagal at his finest).

That's all I can think of right now.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits within
Yes, the Plot is cheesy to no end, but they tried something there. Also great visuals, great overall design, good music, and digital Steve Buscemi is almost as good as real Steve Buscemi. A nice alternative Popcorn Flick.
(Same thing can be said about Advent Children, only that it has really no story at all)

Also, i still find Cloverfield to be one of the best Movies i've seen this year. Unfortunately, i have to wait till September for the DVD to be released in Germany :/
