Movies you hated that everyone else loved

Public Enemies. OK, it's not ultra-loved, but I was still surprised by some of the praise it gets (like from Moviebob). Seriously, it's just a boring incoherent mess and it's hard to hear a large chunk of the dialogue.

Then again, it's more how much I hate it than how much everyone loves it.

The Godfather. yes, i just said that. it was boring, slow-paced and remains 1 of the few movies that can make me go asleep, besides the 4th harry potter movie and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

also, Kill Bill was cheesy as all hell and also boring.

Ummm, I'd have to say, I wasn't a fan of Public enemies. I was expecting a clever series of Bank robberies, the likes of which America had never seen before, but was instead treated to well, here's a gun, give me money. I wanted clever, I wanted intelligent, I wanted stealy mc man, but got none of these things.

Transformers 2 and Boondock Saints. I mean, everyone who actually knows what they're talking about tends to agree that those movies suck, but I have SO many friends that love them both. They're awful.

That chart is heavily biased. There is far too much in the "Explosions" category, and it's missing "Douchebaggery" which should consume the second-biggest portion after Faux.

On another note? I absolutely *hated* Eragon and everyone I know seems to think it's the be-all of fantasy filmmaking. (psst: it's just LotR with Star Wars' plot copypasta'd and vegan elves. And all the soul of both works, in whatever condition, sucked out)

I didn't quite hate Dark Knight, I enjoyed it, in fact. But almost everyone I know wants to burn their own child in honor of it.
