Disney's the hunchback of notre dame.
Every time I try to tell someone how this is an underrated movie with great animation along with an awesome underrated soundtrack, all I ever get is a 'meh, don't remember it' or 'I hated it'. Am I seriously the only one who thought it was a great movie?

Batman Returns.
The general consensus implies it's a lesser film than Burton's first, and nearly as poor as Schumacher's two atrocities.
Personally, I don't only consider it the absolute peak of comic book adaptations; but one of the most underrated american films of the 1990's.

Blood Diamond. Everyone is like "ehh its ok" I think its amazing.
Really? I thought it was pretty well received by most people and critics.

Now for my own contribution:

I loved The Road to El Dorado, a seemingly crappy Disney-esque cartoon. These 2 guys from Spain (if I remember correctly) pose as God's to these Incan/Aztecs (been so long since I've seen it so forgive me). There is one scene where they are asked to follow the village priest, who is like 500 pounds, up thousands of steps. The priest walks up comfortably and then you get a shot of the 2 "gods" struggling to make it up the last step but as soon as the priest turns around they leap to their feet and start acting like it was nothing, posing as if they were gods. Cracks me up.

Here is a clip, watch from 1:50:

Memento. I showed it to 2 of my friends, and afterward, one was so confused he didn't even know what had happened, and the other just said, "That movie sucked."

I should have punched him in the ovaries.

Oh yeah, and I didn't hate Indy 4 as much as everyone else seems to. I didn't even really mind the aliens.

I suppose Avatar would be the big one. I mean, I liked it myself, and obviously a lot of other people did if it sold so well, but there's some people who refuse to count my opinion because I thought Avatar was a good film.
I wonder who you're referring to.
I just can't figure it out.

OT: Eh, I really liked The Island by Michael Bay. Granted, it was pretty stupid but it was that well-made, blissful type of stupid.

I watched American Beauty with a few friends and they all thought it was awful.

I need to get new friends.

In real life, anyway. I know a few of you like those movies, but in real life I can't find anyone to watch them with me. :/
Van Helsing's entertaining fun that doesn't take itself too seriously...but sadly, you right, people hate it for some reason.

Not enough people have heard of district 9!

I can't find anyone that doesn't hate Unbreakable or Elektra either...

Actually, it isn't you. There was this fellow on some other site who wouldn't actually talk to me because I liked Avatar.

He kept saying "I would talk to you, but you liked Avatar, and are thus retarded"
Owie. What a jerkass.
Hmmm... Yeah, that kind of makes me ashamed of being on the same side with him concerning the movie.

Apperantly everyone (except our very own MovieBob) thought The A-Team was not that good. I thought it was awesome.
