Memento. I showed it to 2 of my friends, and afterward, one was so confused he didn't even know what had happened, and the other just said, "That movie sucked."

I should have punched him in the ovaries.

Oh yeah, and I didn't hate Indy 4 as much as everyone else seems to. I didn't even really mind the aliens.
What?! Someone spoke ill word of this movie? Time to find new friends dude. xD

Most of the movies I like tend to be disliked. To name a few: Two thousand maniacs, dagon, tomb of the blinddead...

Van Helsing
Lord of War

I think that Van Helsing is a lot of fun to watch but so many people hate that movie.

the same goes for Lord of War, it is a really good movie but there is just many people that can't stand it

Phonebooth - I freakin' love that movie, but all my friends have either "never seen it" or "thought it was crap". One also said "there wasn't enough shooting". I facepalmed upon hearing those words, as it is a psychological triller darnit >_< (in case you haven't heard of it, or need reminding: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phone_Booth_(film) )

Another one would be Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, which I thought was brilliant, except the end
when that dude reached his hand into that spirit that flew overhead and died. I saw NO reason for him to actually do something like that >_<

Yeah... make sense out of that for me, eh?

I thought Land of the Lost wasn't as horrible as critics said it was.I found it to be entertaining the whole time...
Land of the Lost basically shat on science's front lawn, but it was freaking hilarious.

There are a hell of a lot of movies that I love and no one else likes. Here are my most notable ones:

Demolition Man
Half Past Dead
Monster Man
Angel of Death
RSVP
Idle Hands
Of those I've only seen Demolition Man although it's really entertaining. I don't think it's exactly the best film ever made but it's fun to watch.

All three star wars prequels, the only bad part was the overabundance of love crap in 2
The book of Eli
Dodgeball
The signal
The spirit, it was like looney tunes for adults. Come on that's awesome!
Children of Men

Labyrinth. Most Bowie fans prefer his music to his acting, but for me it's the other way round. Jareth the goblin king ftw.

Dune

Either the David Lynch version or the "Alan Smithee" version, both good. I don't care if other people don't like them....

There are two movies in particular that I love to watch, but my friends disagree with me on ; 'Stripes' and 'The Hangover'.

I liked all of the starwars films, the original 3 more than the prequels. But still enjoyed em.
Zack & Miri make a porno entertained me, if thats what it was meant to do it succeeded.
League of extra ordinary gentlemen, i enjoyed it
Starship troopers, considering when it was made the CGI is still watchable by todays standards (infact i think the fast the furious CGI was perhaps some of the worst ive seen especially by comparison) the plot hmmm a bit predictable i suppose but it was entertaining.
Didnt like Avatar, simply because i refuse to be bought by special effects and 3D. I had the film sussed in about 10 minutes of watching it. Not being a smarmy little bugger when i say that, it just struck me as horribly predictable and to be fair it is a family film but that doesn't mean i have to like it.
THe hurt locker was one i thought was very meh, Some of it, excellent and other parts i just looked at and wondered what the hell this drivel was doing on my screen.

Batman Returns.
The general consensus implies it's a lesser film than Burton's first, and nearly as poor as Schumacher's two atrocities.
Personally, I don't only consider it the absolute peak of comic book adaptations; but one of the most underrated american films of the 1990's.

I love that line.

"You're overpaid. Hit the road."

OT: Pretty much every movie listed, actually, but if I had to say just one, it'd be Daredevil. I have absolutely no problem with that movie. At all. Yet all my friends give me crap for liking it.

I saw the Eragon movie first and then read the books. I thought it was a good movie, if not a little strange. After reading the three books, I now get why everybody hated it so much.

Still, I enjoyed it.

Everyone thinks it's gross and stupid and whatever, but it's unique, and if you're into biology it's pretty clever, and the villain is a total badass.

Avatar

Everyone says it's just a generic plot wrapped up in a pretty picture. It totally is, but you know what? I'm ok with that.
