WHAT?!?!?!?! Everyone I know absolutely loves that film!

'I said across her nose, not UP IT!!' (first quote that came to mind...)

OT: Uh, Kingdom of Heaven... though it's not so much as hate as dislike...

A good deal of the people I know hated Cloverfield, but I love the first person perspective thing.

I mean, if it works in CoD 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 then why not in films?

Eyes Wide Shut. I loved every single scene. It could quite possibly be my favorite Kubrick film behind A Clockwork Orange.

Space Jam.

Movie is fucking gold in my opinion.

People around me don't have the same reaction to it however.

In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale in a so bad (and it is sooooo bad) it's good way.

The Spirit which I genuinely prefer over Sin City as it doesn't have a stick up it'd own ass.

Alien Apocalypse.

Yes, I know it's a Sci-Fi (not using Syfy, because A.That's stupid and B.They made if while they were still Sci-Fi) Channel Original Movie, and I know it objectively sucks, but come on! Bruce Campbell! As Space-Jesus! Killing pallet-swapped Geonosians with a crossbow and a rusty WWI-era-ish officer's sword! It's just too awesome to not like, no matter how many gaping plot holes and terrible actors it has!

I can't think of one good movie that "everyone" (=some people I know) would hate. Plus, I know a few enthusiastic movie freaks, who'll enjoy a bad movie, just because it has an interesting lighting or something.

But, movies that I love more than most of the people I know:

25th Hour
Léon - The Professional
Monty Python and The Holy Grail
Kind Hearts And Coronets

Star Wars prequel trilogy. Without it, Vader is just some guy who happened to be evil for no apparent reason.

Wanted (that one with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman). no one I know likes it. but it's a good mindless fun.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. When they say it sucks, I tell them "Cease that talk or I'll put the fucking leeches on you!"

WHAT!! i could have sworn it was illegal to not love that film. Arguably the best film to come out of england in my opinion.

Let us ride, to... Camelot!

Everybody you know hates Spaceballs. Wow, I'd get some new friends if I were you. Also, make sure your assholes keep firing.
those are good movies as is Jesus Christ Vampire Slayer. *looks at other peoples comments* wth!? Space Jam, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, THE FUCKING MATRIX, Speed Racer, Pirates of the Carribbean 2 and 3, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Watchmen?? these are all great movies? hell some of them i'd consider to be the best of their kind! I was gonna put Spiderman 3 since apparently I'm the only one who not only loves it but thinks it's the best of the trilogy (yes I'm serious), Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer, Norbit, Nacho Libre and Final Fantasy Advent Children. I could go on but I don't feel like it at the moment.

I thought Superbad was hilarious, don't know what people's problem is with that one/what exactly they were expecting. Also, I definately don't love it, but Cloverfield was alright.

Batman and Robin. The really really awful one with Arnold Swartz---I don't know how to spell it--and George Clooney. It was awesome!

The Star Wars prequels. I love episodes 2 & 3, I still hate jar jar binks like everyone else though.

Indiana Jones 4. Yes, it was unrealistic, and that fridge scene was stupid, but I thought it was alright. It wasn't the best of the films, but it wasn't the worse either.

I hear you mate! But on second thought; let's not go to Camelot. It's a silly place.

In my opinion, it's the best comedy film ever made. But I'm afraid that most of the people I know, aren't as crazy for all things Monty Python, as I am; therefore not as eager to watch it the second time, where I'd be for the fifteenth time.
