I wouldn't say I actually LOVE any of the following, but I certainly don't think they were as bad as everyone else seems to think

Any of the early Batman movies
Aeonflux
Ultraviolet

x-men 3. It has problems, but it wasn't as terrible as most people seem to think, in my opinion.

While I only know two people who have seen it, but I would say Splice with Adrian Brody. I don't think it is possible for me to hate any movie with him in it.

The Spirit. I didn't actually know what was about, and when I saw it I was "ok, so it's like an action/noir thingy" up until he fights Samuel L. in the mud and gets hit with a sinkhole. At that point I screamed "WHAT THE FUCK??" out loud in the theater. Not that anybody cared, it was almost empty. From there I just couldn't stop enjoying that film.

Also, Shoot 'Em Up. Can't seem to even find someone who knows that movie even exists, but it's AWESOME. My mouth was kept open in awe the whole duration of the movie.

I can't think of one good movie that "everyone" (=some people I know) would hate. Plus, I know a few enthusiastic movie freaks, who'll enjoy a bad movie, just because it has an interesting lighting or something.

But, movies that I love more than most of the people I know:

25th Hour
Léon - The Professional
Monty Python and The Holy Grail
Kind Hearts And Coronets
25th Hour is great, and really all the movies you mentioned (except maybe Kind Hearts and Coronets) are pretty well known internationally and well-liked.

Me? S1m0ne is a movie most critics hated and most people haven't even heard of, despite staring Al Pacino and being directed by the same guy that did Gattaca. And yet... It's one of the most impactful and striking movies I have ever seen. I mean it literally affected how I see art, and inspired some works of my own. It's bizarre. I could keep defending that movie to death, but for brevity's sake, let's say that it's very strange to enjoy so much something other people seem to dislike so badly.

Secondly, now don't kill ne or anything, I know their not works of art or even all that good but *raises sheild* The Transformers films, now hear me out, they are along way from being great films, but I do find them entertaining, when the robot fighting starts it's good dumb fun, I agree with most of the complaints especially the fact that thre is just too much of the humans, and the 2 stupid robots in the second were worse then Jar Jar and Ewokes combined, but I do enjoy watching them. I've yet too see the third though.
THANK YOU! I completely agree. They are far from greatness as films, but they are some of the most fun movies out there. My biggest complaint is Shia Labeuof, I didn't mind him much in the first movie but now he's just annoying. I too hated those two robots from RotF. You should definitely see the third one, it's my favorite of the series.

I've always wanted to see that, I keep meaning to pick it up on DVD. It looks really good.

Street Fighter with JCVD. Raul Julia is just so over the top evil that I can't help but be entertained. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a villain who's just out to take over the world? (OF COURSE!)

Well I have to admit, they're mildly enjoyable for the explosionfest parts. The third one is the best of them all, not from the plot or anything (I mean the movie sucks in many, MANY ways) but because the action is better, by virtue of Bay toning down the "Shaky Camera" aproach to action and actually letting you see what the fuck is going on

Oh I got another one: Hitman.

I mean, if you forget the game and watch it simply as a spy flick, it's pretty good. And after all, the game IS kind of a spy flick in it's own right.

The marine. One of my favorite films ever, but all my friends, and the critics, hate it

Hmm, some of the movies I like that are tastes to be acquired are so obscure that the unwashed masses don't even know about them to hate them...such as Messiah of Evil.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. When they say it sucks, I tell them "Cease that talk or I'll put the fucking leeches on you!"
I'll add all Terry Gilliam films to this list. Although that almost feels like cheating because I know quite a few people who like them and they're essentially announced as "I want many of you to hate this and some of you to love it". I never tire of people going into Fear and Loathing though, expecting some fairly fun trippy drug fuelled buddy movie and then get ***** slapped by it when if turns out to be as disturbing as thrush.

Speed Racer the Movie... I know. But it was the only movie with such an amazing editing job and so psychedelic visuals i thought i was tripping in the movie theater.

Transformers is not so bad. It's just poorly executed. No grudge there. But only could saw it once. You're right. Michael Bay's shaky camera + extremely wiring detailed Robots= piles of junk blurring across the screen.

The Transformer movies. Srsly, I found them more entertaining and likable (With the annoying humour in the second) than anything recent by Chris Nolan.

I don't really love any of these movies but I think they get too much flak

kingdom of the crystal skull

watchmen

spiderman 3

fantastic four rise of the silver surfer

NOTE: to be fair I didn't see the other Indiana Jones movies or read the watchmen comic so Maybe that's why I don't understand all the hate.
