Metal Gear Solid, the entire saga. It would be amazing (and most people complain it's too much like a film anyway).

Goddamn I want this to happen.

A new Brave New World film, and the sequel to trainspotting. And the rest of the books written by Irvine Welsh. And Fallout.

A movie that doesn't suck completely and distort and lighten and brighten the story to almost unrecognizable dimensions: The Golden Compass, and the rest of the His Dark Materials -trilogy.

Also a Hobbit movie (or 2 or 3 movies of it), that would be directed by someone like Guillermo Del Toro instead of Peter bloody Jackson.

Any action movie with fight scenes as cool and shots at least as long as in 300. You shouldn't need to see those second lone shots mashed together with a shaky confusing view of the battle.

My Immortal: The Movie

Or, alternatively, a film based on my soon to be realized MGS/ Harry Potter crossover fanfic.

I want that purely because it would easily become the worst film ever made. They'd also need to keep every little inconsistency, and have the characters speak like its written, non of this actual English crap.

But I'd like the remake of The Warriors to come out, because hopefully it will not only be a decent film, but it would bring attention to the classic original, which doesn't get nearly as much recognition as it deserves.

Thing is, i'd....actually prefer to see Tohou made into an anime series if anything: There's just WAY to much stuff to try to fit it all into one movie, and a series would be the best way to expand upon it all and offer something to the fans at the same time. Not saying it's a bad idea to suggest it as a movie, but i just think it's better suited to being an anime series.
No, see, what I was suggesting was a separate film made for each game; one for The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, one for Perfect Cherry Blossom, and so on and so forth (exclusing the PC-9800 games, of course, because even if ZUN authorises any films it is bordering on impossible that he will acknowledge them ever again). Though as I said the dialogue would need to be greatly expanded and probably a bit of padding added as well, mostly to explain some of the backstory of the plot and the characters involved, I could easily see each of them filling a full length film.

I'd like to see a Wanted movie that actually follows the book. I actually fairly enjoyed the existing Wanted movie, despite the fact that it had literally nothing to do with the book I love so much, but I think following the book would make for a much more entertaining movie.

Good luck getting it past the censors intact though.

A real Starship Troopers movie. Y'know, one that has Skinnies, Pseudo-Arachnid Spiders, Power Armour and a male Dizzy!

I'd also love to see a Halo movie but at least we have Legends right?

Secondly, a Warhammer 40,000 film would not be unwelcome. The coming Ultramarines film is just that, a film about the Ultramarines, and a proper 40K film should include every major player in the galaxy. Personally I think it should be divided into separate, self-contained short stories told from the perspective of different sides, overall including the six main factions in one form or another. I also think it should be made mainly by Relic, as they have done marvelous things with the setting that will translate well to the medium.
Agreed.

Imperium: A Warhammer 40K Movie.

The elite warriors of the Imperial Guard are sent to a Hive world to restore order and crush a rebellion. They arrive, however, to a world in complete revolt. Out numbered and out gunned, they must fight against heretics and stop the worst from happening: the birth of a Daemon Planet.

EDIT: I actually have the entire thing worked out in my head. And a bitching trailer too!
I'll call Peter Jackson! You get Plastic Wax!
[sub]I'd also love a Warhammer 40,000 movie.[/sub]

I thought Peter Jackson did an amazing job with The Lord of The Rings trilogy.

I would love to see a Dark Tower series movie, but it would probably suck, because they would try to cram to much into each movie instead of making a full 7.

The Golden Compass wasn't that bad for a PG movie. They never would've been able to continue the story past it in any way that could be honestly called "adaptation" without upping to PG-13, which they wouldn't do because of the $$$. I really would've liked to have seen them do the whole series with that cast and such, but a PG-13 rating. Of course the American Catholic League would probably stroke out from the anger induced hypertension.

A movie about Nathan Summers aka Cable. The problem is simplifying his ridiculously complex origin without dumbing it down too much. Then the fact I believe his film rights are owned by Disney/Marvel, but the X-men are owned by FOX. Plus the fact his popularity is only going to wane with time and the film would probably be an incredibly bad action movie.

That said if done well it could be a philosophic sci fi romp that parodies nineties anti-heroes and ties into a crossover with a Deadpool movie.

I know Richard O'Brien wrote a sequel to Rocky Horror Picture Show called Revenge of the Old Queen that retconned the events of Shock Treatment, featured Janet giving birth to Frank N. Furter's son, and had Brad becoming a gay stripper in Las Vegas and killing himself. Frank's mother would also show up as the antagonist. By all accounts, it has the potential for greatness, but Richard only wrote the 1st draft before he moved on to other projects. I would love to see this with a new cast made up of Hollywood's finest and maybe Tim Curry showing up for a cameo as Frank N. Furter's mother. Heck, give Meatloaf a cameo too, along with a reason to sing more 50's style rock ballads. I'd also have the songs co-written by Richard O'Brien and David Bowie, thus ensuring maximum sexiness and quality. A man can dream, can't he? Oh yes...A man can dream...

Actually, the author of the Trainspotting book says that Ewan McGregor and Danny Boyle have talked to him about adapting the literary sequel Porno, so that one may actually come out.

I thought that Ewan McGregor had some type of fallout with Boyle, over Leonardo DiCaprio being picked over him for The Beach. I recall Boyle saying it might be made, just that it would take a while for the actors to look old enough.

I would love to see a Quantum and Woody movie Quantum and Woody are the title characters of the award-winning popular comic book series published by Valiant Comics back in the 90's

The Plot:
The world's worst super-hero team!

QUANTUM & WOODY, draws from many influences. The general feel of the comic book was that of a comedic take on the Lethal Weapon paradigm mixed with regular forays into heavy drama.

Eric Henderson (Quantum) is a decorated Army tactical officer. Every move this ?Type-A? African-American makes is planned with precision. Woodrow Van Chelton (Woody) is a goofy white guy with a guitar (but no band). His idea of detective work is hanging a suspect out a window. They are childhood friends who have lost touch with one another as they entered their teenage years. Now re-united after the deaths of their fathers in a helicopter crash they begin investigating the suspicious deaths, and become victims of a high-tech industrial accident that turns their bodies into pure energy. The metal gauntlets they each wear must be slammed together every 24 hours to reset their energy matrix?or their atoms will break apart and their bodies will fade away. Eric takes the code name ?Quantum? to work undercover and find his father?s killer. Woody wants to avenge his father?s death too?but code names are stupid; people can call him ?Woody.? Can they solve the mystery without strangling each other or destroying the world?

Wouldn't that make an awesome set of movies?

I was under the impression that Ewan got over that, but I might be wrong...besides, didn't the Beach suck? I'd certainly count my losses if I were in his position.

That statement by Boyle was also from a couple of years ago, so who knows...they may get around to it some day...Ah, a man can dream...
