Id love to see a Sam and Max movie. Something that captures the lighthearted tone, comic absurdity, colorful characters, sarcastic dialogue, art noir style, physical comedy, tight writing and wonderful artistic style all in one package that breaks the animation department out of the kiddie realm and secures it into "grown up" media.

Metro 2033 movie would be awesome. And I remember reading that the writer is selling the film rights so maybe there's hope.

Well there is a movie going to be made about it but I doub't it will be any good. Plus they would have to make 14 movies...

The series of the wheel of time. Starting with the eye of the world. They bought the movie rights for the first book. Please hollywood don't let me down on this one.

Saywhatnow? Have you been watching the same animated films I've been watching, because from where I'm standing that has happened ages ago.

I would have loved it if Quentin Tarantino had followed through with his Vega Brothers prequel featuring two of his greatest characters, Vic (Michael Madsen, Reservoir Dogs) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta, Pulp Fiction). Unfortunately he put the kibosh on the idea a few years ago due to the fact that neither actor can portray younger versions of their previous characters any longer but oh, what could have been.

I'm still waiting for the halo movie, Though im a bit afraid of it to because everything halo related that isn't spearheaded my bungie tends to be mediocre or really bad, ie halo legends and halo wars.

Maybe for you, but all the big animated movies of the past few years have been secured to the kiddie ghetto because they are still seen as kiddie material. Toy Story 3 was a massive project that received amazing reviews and was seen as a defining film amongst young adults and teenagers. But it doesn't have a chance in hell to win anything other than animation-only awards. Name one animated feature which won best picture, ever.

The fact that they're seen as such isn't so much the film's fault but moreso the critic's fault. It's animated therefore it's kiddy, that's quite silly isn't it. Toy Story indeed deserves better than that, so do many other animated films.

Plus I wasn't just talking about Western animation. One title; Grave Of The Fireflies.

A post-apocalyptic action movie that's NOT set in an American metropolis or some generic wasteland.
I think continental Europe would work fantastically. Imagine Prague, Strassburg or Vienna as a backdrop. Gothic church towers dominating the background of every shot, violent shooutouts in the shadows of the remains of Roman statues that once marked the same point as a peak of culture and fine arts... I wouldn't even care that much about the plot, I just want to see those visuals on a big screen.
That's a hauntingly beautiful image. I want that now.

The movie about my life.
Probably won't get made because it's rather uneventful. :p
Now watch, they will make a movie, and find this comment, and use it for a dramatic point.
JUST. WATCH.

A good version of Eragon. Book was brilliant, movie sucked bozons.

For an inversion a Half-Life movie would probably leave me traumitized. Gordon Freemans voice is the one thing no one should hear.
Also if i see a sequel to the Expendables, im personally going to assasinate the films producers.

A Starcraft Movie........ A real one not Starship Troopers
Starship Troopers was based on a book, not Starcraft. Just a random fact.

A movie from the perspective of the mooks (generic foot soldiers) that get slaughtered en masse by the hero/heroine in movies like Aeon Flux, Equilibrium, Resident Evil, etc.

It would be a drama that looks into the banality of their lives at home and work, the camaraderie and friendship the mooks share between themselves, and then the heartbreaking conclusion where they are nearly all massacred by the hero, who spouts a clever one-liner, takes the McGuffin they were guarding, and then leaves.

House of leaves. but not like the whole book, just the Navidson Record part of it. I mean the book already has the movie lined up shot for a shot and dialogue for most of it, all that needs to happen it the actual movie be made,

Plus 6 minutes of uninterrupted darkness and silence would be epic. (read the book)

Justice League of America. Ok this may happen at some point in the future but at the current state DC can't get their act together to make a good DC hero that isn't Batman (I really hope that the Green Lantern movie will be good).
