"I'm feeling happy now", etc.

I already have an original platinum copy of MGS for PSX. Good thing PS3 can still play PSOne games. But still not PS2 games. Grrr.

Now they just need to HD release the first three silent hill games and all shall be well. And shove in a Noseybonk cameo in there whilst they're at it.

I'm guessing the reason it doesn't have MGS1 can be described like this; let's see you try plugging your wireless controller into the player 2 port.
Well actually MGS1 is available in the PSN store. It's very easy to set your controller to the player 2 port on the PS3, there's an option for it when you hold the 'Home' button.
Now try that on a 360, and you get a problem. It might've been possible to have MGS1 HD in the colleciton, but maybe only on the PS3 version, and that'd annoy people. But I'm guessing the real reason is something different.

Another amusing thing to think about is what they'd reveal on your memory in the HD collection.
"So, I hear you like playing this game's sequels, MWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

I'll end up picking up both collections for the 360 of course, but I am very saddened that Metal Gear Solid isn't in there. As was said earlier it really was the best and most memorable of the bunch.
