Red faction guerrilla, I couldn't get a single match going.

Surprisingly, NOT Halo Wars. There's always thousands of players on at a time and I can easily get a match. Too bad I royally suck at it.

1. Chromehounds ( T-T )
2. Every Original Xbox Game in Existance
3. Red Faction: Guerilla (Shame too, had so much fun breaking shit in that game.)
4. Many iOS games that were meant for Multiplayer are now dead.
5. Bioshock 2 (Twas alright, could see why it died though...)
6. Halo Reach (Not exactly dead, but with Call of Duty being the parasite that it is, the number of people playing it are slowly but steadily dropping.)
Reach isn't dying. As of July it's the 5th most played game on xbox, more people are playing it than modern warfare 2, and that thing was up there for awhile.

On a side note Holy s#$% look at Minecraft. It's above black ops

I posted that a few months ago. Reach has made a comeback since. Not surprising since the same thing happened with MW2 and Halo3.

Call of Duty: World at War and Assassin's Creed Revelations seem pretty dead to me.

It's a shame, too; I absolutely love the multiplayer on both of those games.

CoD4 and World at War might as well be dead on 360. There are more hackers/cheaters on World at War than there are legit players, and I'm not exaggerating. Every single game has a GodMode cheater or 3. Oh, and Microsoft doesn't seem to give a shit, since I've reported hundreds of them and still see the same fucking people cheating week to week.

I doubt that valve will, alien swarm was released as a platform for developers, which was the only reason it was free. They make a lot of money from games that were originally mods. I.E. Killing Floor, and Dino D-day.
haven checked on it but dino D-day was pretty much a stillborn what with the whole tf2 going f2p thing perhaps its picked up now though

Killed by GWFL: Both Kane & Lynch games, Mortal Kombat Kollection, Street Fighter IV.

Killed by popular culture: Both Left 4 Dead games (There is always some players in multiplayer when a new map and story update released), Wings of Prey.
