Hi Troll.
And no. To ignore that some 360 titles are on the PC makes no sense, as the requirements to play some of those games, e.g. L4D & Mass Effect, are exceptionally low. To go "Oh yeah I'll buy a 360 for L4D & Mass Effect" without taking in consideration that your PC could run those games is nothing more than ***** retarded.
This isn't a PS3 VS 360 thread. It's a "Should I get a 360" thread, therefore can you say why the OP shouldn't take into account that some games on the 360 run on the PC?
You act like playing games on the PC is more akward than a console, which again makes little sense. A PC has a start up time, desktop and you have to install games...Holy sh*t, that makes playing games so akward....
If the user does NOT have a PC capable of gaming or simply does NOT game on PC, then yes, it's perfectly fine to throw it out of the argument of exclusive games. I have no problem with those who choose to game on PC, it's not any more awkward, I just choose not to, largely because I can't be bothered to continually update my PC, nor can I be bothered to attempt to hook it up to my TV.

If us saying that a 360 game is exclusive because it's not on PS3 is naive, you saying that everyone should game on PC and factor that in is just as naive. The topic was about whether or not he should get a 360 and you have to come in here and flame... the guy already has a PS3, so you're not arguing FOR PS3, you're just slamming XBox at this point, and that makes you a fanboy. Not once have I said anything detrimental to PS3 in this thread because it simply doesn't matter. In fact, my reply to the OP specifically said, and I quote...

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you have a PC capable of playing current games and you like to game on PC as well, then it's worth noting that some 360 titles like Left 4 Dead and Mass Effect show up on PC as well.
So piss off with your flaming and name calling.

If you got the dough and 50 bucks per years barely makes a dent in your wallet, then go for it. The only downside I had with my 360 is having to send it for repair once (RROD), sent on a Tuesday and got it back the following week Wednesday and it came back better than ever. I plan on getting a PS3 after I updrage my living room tv to a 32 inch LCD, Uncharted didn't really inpress me but that Uncharted 2 looks serious!

If you like old school RPGs then Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon are not to be missed.
I'd also recommend Ninja Blade for the simple reason that it is awesome.

Why not? There's no reason not to enjoy both consoles, maybe if everyone had both there wouldn't so much flaming and we could all get along but I digress.
Pff every fanboy claims they own or owned the console they bash.
Hahaha... there is some truth to this... I personally don't own and have never owned a PS3, so in some of my arguments I do have to admit to not having played x game extensively, but I do have several friends with them so I've played many of the system's top games. My opinion of it is a little jaded because I used to be a PS fanboy. Had a PS1 and a PS2.... but I feel they betrayed me with the PS3.

No, you clearly do not understand how the thought process works. Let me clarify this gem for you:
"If the user does NOT have a PC capable of gaming or simply does NOT game on PC, then yes, it's perfectly fine to throw it out of the argument of exclusive games. "
See the above, the person has still taken into consideration that some 360 games are on PC, he hasn't just obliviously ignored it.
Clearly, to just ignore multi-platform games would be retarded. When factoring whether to buy any console, I would say it's just as retarded to think "Oh I'm getting it for Assassins Creed and CoD4" and not to take into consideration that they are on PC, 360 & PS3. I did not once say that those games should be played on PC, I was saying that the OP should take into account that those games are on PC. I'm not "slamming Xbox" you pissy fanboy, I'm simply stating a **** fact, get over it. Why the hell are you now mentioning PS3? What the hell??
Don't fret though, logical & analytical reasoning confuses some people.
If you acknowledge those games are on PC and that should be taken into consideration, then why the flying f*** are you trying to argue about it? Oh right, trolling...
So, you're saying.... that if a gamer, who does not play on PC, was looking at PS3 or 360, that the gamer should think "Well, Mass Effect and Left 4 Dead are available on PC, but that's useless information to me since I don't game on PC. Still, Matzy says they don't count as exclusives even though I won't be able to play them if I get a PS3. I thought that's what it meant to be a console exclusive, but whatever, Matzy is god and he says that I should play games on PC in order to avoid buying a 360."

I specifically asked the guy beforehand whether or not he gamed on PC, and pointed out that some of the top titles are available on PC as well as 360, but that's still not good enough for you, because PS3 is the BEST EVAR and has the MOST and BESTEST trulyexclusivebecauseyoucantgetthemanywhereelse GAMEZ and all of 360's best games are NOT EXCLUSIVE because if you knew ANYTHING at all you would get them and play them on your shitty PC with your shitty monitor and then you'll realize that they really weren't that good of a game to begin with because they were never on PS3! PS3 FTW!

Just sell your ps3 and all your games and get an awesome PC :). Nah I'm kidding, I personally don't see the value in getting both platforms theres not many 360 exclusives that I would personally go out of the way to get. Most of the upcoming titles are coming out to both platforms. That is unless your a forza fan (which you probably aren't since you have a sony console).

Kudos to you good sir!
You're right, the OP didn't mention PC as a viable option. So as it comes to exclusives, we should stay focused on what the 360 has to offer. And indeed, I hear great things about Mass Effect, Gears and L4D. Has KOTOR been released on the 360 yet, cause I know there is a lot of hype around that game too.
Wow, I'm glad to see that not all PS3 owners are like Matzy. KOTOR was an original XBox game and is one of the ones that is backwards compatible with the new 360's, but I'm not sure if it's been released on live yet if that's what you mean.

I don't know if I'm the only one or something but I just can't be bothered to game on my PC, even though it's perfectly capable of playing most up-to-date games. Even if I did hook my PC up to my TV I wouldn't want to go through using a mouse and keyboard to set my game up and then switching to a controller. It's just too much of a hassle for me, and some games are just built for a console.

Also, are there any other "good" exclusives for the Xbox360?
To be honest. I think the Xbox 360 is better than PS3.There are more only for 360 games than there are only 4 PS3 games....(I'm not a fanboy)

if i were you i'd stick with your PS3 and get a good PC as well. Or you could alter your PS3 to play x-box games as well.
