EDIT: I made this post to get others opinions because one of my friends was listening to people scream into a mic and call it music, then tell me my piano playing sucks and was noise.

Nothing. I consider anything that has instruments or a voice attempting to sing music. It doesn't have to be very good music, but it's still definitely music.

for me, mostly just screamo. i despise most pop, but i wouldn't call it noise. but when an otherwise pretty song degrades to screaming, it really turns me off and i just don't see the appeal or the point.

I consider the more extreme forms of Black Metal to be just noise, because well, it is. It's so poorly recorded that its just a crackle with ultra distorted geetaars and some dude gurgling into a cheap microphone.

Dont get me wrong, I love a lot of Black Metal, but some of it fails soo bad.

Yeah I can't stand screamo either... although there's this ONE screamo song that I got stuck in my head merely because of it's chorus
