That is one of my favorite songs off of that sound track. It's really something.

I enjoy two groups in particular Stellamara and Irfran, The former does more celtic East European type things, while Irfran does a bit of middle eastern. I also like The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices tracks I've been listening too.

The Dragon Ball GT Japanese opening, is something I enjoy and I find it really cheerful
This. I love that song so much.
Also this:
That anime yanked hard on my heartstrings and the opening theme is just beautiful.

The majority of my music collection is non-English. I also can't believe this far into the thread and no one has mentioned Rammstein. So I will. Rammstein is awesome.

There good. Ever here of Korplikanni or Primordial? Primordial went from mostly black metal and some folk to some of the most beautiful folk-metal poets ever and some black metal songs per cd lol

I do enjoy some Rammstein, although I can understand some of it admittedly.

Then there's the random stuff that Guitar Hero/Rock Band have put in down the years, such as this.

And Caramelldansen is damn catchy.

Although I know hear the chorus as this.

Dance on my balls
Cat fucking a hand bag
Yours only yours
Delores tickle dance mat
it's no lie,

I had to play the video to give that a listen, and I am not sure I could hear anything else now. Thanks for the laughs.

OT: The voice can and really should be just as much of an instrument as anything else. Since you don't need words to enjoy a song I can't see any reason why someone cannot enjoy a song in a language they cannot understand.

As for me Korean ska is great, and there are quite a few songs I like. There is some j-pop, but very little. As well as dirty little indulgence of mine I choose not to name.

Generally it's Japanese, but I've heard some nice music in other languages. So long as I like the song and lyrics, I don't care much for what language it's in.

I listen to a lot of metal in other languages. Then again even the metal I listen to in English can't really be understood.

That's only a couple of them I am too lazy to try and find the rest.

I am jealous. I'd love to see them in concert sometime. Quite the spectacle.

Holy Blood (Russian, although Google couldn't figure out what language Kill was in...) and Oskord (Ukrainian). I also recently picked up Takao, by Chthonic, which has parts in Taiwanese (I think).

I sang epic songs in a chamber choir for a while. I still don't know the full lyrics or meaning of "Rose Complete" (which is French for either "The Perfect Rose" or "The Perfect Pink"), but damn, it's pretty.

Same with the Ingrian Evenings set. Half of it is gibberish, half of it is Finnish, all of it is nigh-impossible to pronounce, all of it is fantastic.

I usually listen to music that I don't understand when I want to space out for a while, and Tinariwen is always trippy:

And then there's Ja Sha Taan by Fun Da Mental, from the best titled album ever: "Erotic Terrorism" ^^ Epic!

Sigur Rós

I have no idea what they were saying when they were speaking Icelandic.
And because lots of their fans are in the same boat (including me), hilarious stuff like this happens

People already mentioned Rammstein and Sigur Ros.

I didn't see these others anywhere but somebody probably did them:

Nobody speaks Gaelic anymore.

I can't speak French in conversation but I know enough to have translated maybe half of what she's saying after several listens.
