Ok. I suppose if you just want to go by what the games out right told it may have never been said. But then again none of the characters would actually know if there culture stagnated as they have no comparison.
Well I generally only pay attention to Fallout 1 for Fallout lore, too much idiocy crept in with the other games. But I never saw divergence as the logical occorunce I more prefered the idea of cyclical fashions myself.

I'm pretty sure Fallout 3 kept pointing and jabbing at it but I'd understand if you just ignored that.
Fallout 3 implied and stateted alot of things, very few of which were worth noting.

But the Divergance theory hasn't been noted in any of the actual games themselves, it's based on speculation and the Fallout Bible, not the games themselves.
Wasn't the Fallout Bible written by Black Isle?

So I would assume that would make it canon.

It's comprised of interviews with Black Isle if I rememberr correcty.

But Fallout 2 was made by Black Isle so I don't really think what they say should have much bearing on canon.

I would love to hear the Ode to Joy. I think that would be awesome. And the flight of the Valkyries.

Agreeded. I loved Fallout 3 but the writing was terrible. It only really hit me how bad recently when I went and picked up the old games.

That aside I suppose there are any number of theory's that could be correct, especially if your just going by the first 2 games. Personally I prefer the alternative time line theory though, but I suppose it's fine to believe whatever.

But they also made Fallout 1. They created the damn canon!

YES, I like jazz, and I certainly hope that there will be a jazz-station in New Vegas.

I would need music from the modern age because Fallout 3 had a soundtrack so bad I wanted to take off all my armor and run into the deathclaw sanctuary. It was horrible, atrocious, a crime upon my eardrums.

I want the bands Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Puddle of Mudd, Metallica, Slayer, Slipknot. while this is a wishlist I'd also like a sonic weapon that lets me amplify what I have on the radio into a much more conentrated and directed form so I can point it at an enemy and blow their head off with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DOSO9HLEOk The concentrated awesomeness would do epic damage at even extreme ranges.

Assuming Fallout New Vegas has something similar to Galaxy News Radio in Fallout 3 are there any Fallout style tunes you wanted to hear?

Personally after hearing the remixed version recently on the radio I kind of want this.

Minus the DJ though. Three Dog was the most annoying dude in the waste land, which is saying something when it comes to Fallout 3's voice acting.
You need epic points for creating an excellent thread. Kudos.

I'd love some more of the Ink Spots, and I'd love some Sinatra.

Not too bothered as long as it fits the game and is numerous. If I hear Mighty Mighty Man or Butcher Pete again, I will go choppin' myself.
