Morphine. I don't care if they mercilessly overused the two-string bass guitar, they still sound great.

Dropkick Murphys' been my favourite four a good while now. Don't see how nothing's gonna change that yet!

Been mixing it up with a little bit of The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel as well today

And let's never forget the all powerful Meat Loaf, this man IS rock'n roll!

With good reason, my friend. A Change of Seasons, for instance, is a 25 minute work of art.

Best recording of it I could find on YouTube. Sax solo isn't particularly adventurous, but never mind.

Well, after I started up Borderlands, I just had to go out and buy the Cage the Elephant album, which I am listening to as I type this now.
Same here, sadly though I really found the rest of the album to be just...Well, bad.
I loved Ain't No Rest For The Wicked, but the rest of it just annoyed me for some reason, that song really isn't indicative of the album as a whole.

As for what I'm digging at the moment, having heard of The Rev's death, I've been listening to Avenged Sevenfold a lot lately, as well as a bit of Devildriver and, as always, Dream Theater.

Since I can listen to any random song or piece on Youtube, I no longer have to force myself to like anything I bought, even after it got boring. Anything band-related is too expensive anyway, because you must buy more and more once you've started, although you know it's all the same...

My tastes are very, well, varied, but the bands/artists I keep finding myself putting on repeat are:

Mean Tangerine
Eminem
Broadway (post hardcore band, felt the need to clarify that one)
Ill Scarlet
Cage The Elephant
Brand New
