MW2 Glitch= Temporary ban

Or, y'know, they could be presently working on a patch and - quite reasonably - preventing people from abusing a glitch until they have managed to resolve the issue?

I'm fine with them banning, it's highly annoying and i refuse to do it as it's just not cricket dear chap. The problem i have with it though is that A: how do they know when someone does it? B: I have noticed their is nowhere on the xbox, or modern warfare 2 where it says that it will get you banned. Ban them sure, but at least give people a chance to stop it.

I really hope they patch it soon, as well as the rock glitch on Afhan. I lost a 20 game win streak because of that glitch.

which glitch is that? Is that the one when you "fall" about a foot from the ledge and you find yourself on another ledge with grass? That doesn't look like a glitch to me..its completely accessible
and while I have gone on that ledge once,I only netted 3 sniper rifle kills from that ledge.
I was using an ACOG'd Intervention and shooting the other team that was camping in the cave.

It´s thats planes defence strategy, it´s like u would take away the scope from a sniper rifle or magazines from ur LMG.

You fire 1 ocket and it uses flares fair enough, you fire the 2nd one ad it deploys more flares, its not supposed to do that. It makes it unstoppable.
Also, apparently you can knife through solid objects now.

You dont get it. Its not supposed to drop 2 sets of flares that fast online. You only get 2 shots with a Stinger in the first place.

They don't... it's an empty threat, they may ban a few dozen or maybe hundred people while representatives are Online and see it for themselves or whatever but it's the "thought" that counts

suppose... its not like there gonna ban the majority of players, i mean i was on a game just now and everyone was doing it, i just gave up in the end n sat back sniping them all

Well, they'll probably find them the same way they found the gamerscore cheats and reset their score.

I just found out about this glitch yesterday and i thought it was damn hilarious. i can see where a lot of people say it is cheating. but i look at it this way...it reminds me of frag tagging on gears of war. people always bitched about that but i think if the player can get that close to tag you with a frag grenade then good for them. just get the hell out of the way after you tag them. basically its the same thing with this. if i see someone running towards me with a jav then im going to get the hell away from them or shoot them from a distance before they get to me. i havent tried the glitch yet it just seems funny. and besides its not like its helping the glitchers kill/death ratio any. it probably hurts them more than it helps. unless they find a group of people who are camping together in the same corner. but more times than not it is only a kill for a kill unless you shoot them from a distance. but yes the rock glitch and things like that yes ban people. or how about we fix the crappy servers for mw2. the jav glitch is just a minor thing.
