I have different styles, I can counter akimbo 1887's at any time. just pull out the sniper and wait for them. if that doesn't work... spray with an SMG.

I'm sick of people saying the game is broken and IW doesn't care and MW1 was better. The game maybe has a few more glitches and unblanaced things but it was the most anticipated game EVER. They were kinda under pressure to release it asap and they still did an amazing job. They are trying to fix the game and everyone makes it out like they made the patch not work on purpose because Iw hates them personally, and its a load of bull, no other developer cares about your damn feelings enough to go out of their way to patch every thing you don't like (except maybe bungie who are taking everything except AR's off their maps because any gun that shoots anything harder than marshmallows is "unbalanced"). As far as the "this game is crap" Its not exactly the same as MW1, we get it, Take some time to play the game and get good at it instead of whining when you get killed. The devs said they tried to make it feel similar to MW1 but different enough that it isnt just the same thing with a slightly different campaign, i personally think that shows they kinda care about all the whiners feelings but the whiners would rather have a MW1.5 that felt exactly the same than try something new.
singleplayer that will probably be even shorter? like a 2-hour long campaign? if you want singleplayer, I'd shy away from CoD, it wasn't even that good IMO, if I wanted Bond-esque stuff I'd pop in one of the Bond games on the PS2 *runs to go do that*miracleofsound said:Nor will they be. IW don't seem to care to be honest. They made thier big bucks.will1182 said:I still swear that they weren't patched. I was killed by them 20 feet away, like 10 times today. They have NOT been patched properly.
For MW3 I think I'll stick to single player.
My brother unlocked the full marathon-lightweight-commando tactical knife build when I was at his house last saturday. Second time I played a MW2 multiplayer match, first time with that build, I ended the game with a 20 kills to 6 deaths.will1182 said:I agree, this game seems to have more glitches than CoD4 ever had. It's not even the glitches that bug me, but a bunch of stuff with the multiplayer. The SMGs have been completely nerfed, assault rifles are overpowered to the point where they are godly enough to shoot across the map, Marathon-Lightweight-Commando works a little too well, the maps seem to be specifically designed for camping, and the killstreaks encourage camping even more. And Akimbo-anything is the dumbest addition they could have made.miracleofsound said:Nor will they be. IW don't seem to care to be honest. I sometimes wonder whether they decided to test the game before they released it. Maybe I'll use your idea and just stick to single player for MW3. (yay for more unnecessary sequels!)
More importantly almost all weapons use FMJ ammo as standard. MW2s FMJs are really armor piercers. Also, yes IW has proven that they have turned in careless dicks with this game. Why the fuck did they think no dedicated servers was a good idea? Instead of making console gamers feel better by taking the better system from Pcs, why not give the better system to consoles as well? Also, the host migration is shit as I have never once seen it migrate successfully and never had a host bailout problem in the original anyway. Yes, the balance is shit and hit detection is abismal and I'm sick of getting shot in the back just because some asshole spawned there. And I thought the original had a broken spawn system. It takes too long for a match to start (by which time those host usually bails and forces me to find a new one. The match length and win conditions can't be altered and I can't even pick the map I want to play on.Cheeze_Pavilion said:1) how do you know IW meant to allow perk slots to work around the patch? How do you know this wasn't an unforeseen work around?Kalezian said:sadly, this^.Onyx Oblivion said:It's not the same, now you have to use perk slots and shit.
I said the exact same thing in a previous thread.
now once moar with feeling: *werds*
2) I think the bigger issue is: why is the FMJ is increasing range? FMJ is supposed to just increase bullet penetration issues, right?
3) now that I think about it, why the hell does a shotgun have FMJ anyway?
Okay, but first of all I want my buddy to be sprinting around for at least forty seconds with them, then I want him to fire both of them at the same time without blowing his arms off.blazinwings said:alright...everyone who has felt disgruntled after being killed by the deadly akimbo 1887 combo from a range you felt was unfair, do something for me before you ***** about it.
find yourself two 12-gauge shotguns and a buddy, and have him shoot you with them from roughly the distance your avatar was killed from in the game that pissed you off so much you had to forum about how cheap they are. then reply and let me know how it worked out for you.
and, as a secondary assignment, get some fucking skills! if you're so bad at the game you need to blame somebody's weapon loadout for your failure, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
It was short indeed but I loved every second of it. I was full of adrenalin and excitement all the way through, then went and did it on veteran which was just as much fun!FURY_007 said:singleplayer that will probably be even shorter? like a 2-hour long campaign? if you want singleplayer, I'd shy away from CoD, it wasn't even that good IMO, if I wanted Bond-esque stuff I'd pop in one of the Bond games on the PS2 *runs to go do that*miracleofsound said:Nor will they be.
