Personally I'm less pissed off with people squealing about games they love than I am with people who just moan at a game for being popular.

It's the whole hypster mentality that surrounds this site. It just makes me angry. We saw it before with Halo and now where seeing it with MW2. Maybe we'll see it with ME2 in the future, though probably less so.

No one talks about how Shadow the Hedgehog or Ninja Breadman is shitty. They just want to talk about how Modern Warfare 2 is shitty, even though at worst it's sub par. I mean jesus christ! THERE'S A REASON THESE GAMES ARE POPULAR!

I'm up for that general idea, but not about Halo. You know how those threads tend to go.

Oh man, I've heard that game is so good, but I've never played it.

And there will be build up for it about 2 weeks before it, mostly on how it's going to suck, probably as the extreme anti-JRPG haters will come out.

Not that I'll care, seeing as I've pre-ordered it and still have that trailer bouncing around my mind like a baby that's had too much sugar.

Even after it is out people who hate JRPG's will be saying it "sucks" even though they never played it.

And I bookmarked the demo.

I don't understand why it is regarded as highly as it is. YES. Some parts were very fun and mysterious. YES. The biotic abilities we badass. But still, I thought it was a pretty less-than-average game.

Because Bioware have a good track record for making RPG games that are good, and for more or less single handedly fixing star wars, IN my own opinion. Besides, hopefully they have made improvements which the first one needed.

Your right though, the first one when you got down to it, was average. Hopefully they've done the game justice this time round.

That's what they do already. Hell, if you talked to some people around here, you'd think every JRPG had Turn Based Combat and androgynous protagonists.
