That's what they do already. Hell, if you talked to some people around here, you'd think every JRPG had Turn Based Combat and androgynous protagonists.

True. Hell, I have seen a few times where they directly said "It is just a bunch a androgynous boys fighting satan".

Probably because that's exactly what Yahtzee said. Look, I find Yahtzee funny, and I don't really like most JRPGs, but my god, that's annoying.

Probably because that's exactly what Yahtzee said. Look, I find Yahtzee funny, and I don't really like most JRPGs, but my god, that's annoying.

Even more so when you are a big fan of the genre.

So I'd imagine, but the fact that it's so irritating even when I don't like the genre is telling.

Once ME2 comes out and everyone invariably starts to hate it for not being better than anything else ever then I think we'll head on over to Bioshock 2. Just a guess, though.

So the escapist likes to go through trends of blowing up with hype on certain video games. Every other post from october to december was about Modern Warfare 2 and all the stuff surrounding it. Lately it has all been about ME2 and everyone complaining about more Mass Effect and all the hype surrounding it. So whats the next game to get all the hype and annoy everyone on the forums that really doesn't care too much about it?

I would have said the new Final Fantasy but it seems like its getting pretty close to release and its staying on the DL. I really can't think of any upcoming games that will clog up the forums like crazy but I know it will come eventually. So, what is that next game to clog the forums?

MAG will get up there, people seem to think its great, I quit the beta after about 10 minutes.

And if Yahtzee reviews it, it's only going to get worse.

I know. People will parrot him for months.

What if (a big if) Yahtzee likes it, praises that the main character both looks and is female, it does away with turn based battles, you can choose how you level and it most certainly isn't a sandbox game
To add to this his reviews for both TWEWY and Valkyria Chronicles were relatively good considering his hate for the genre and also considering how RPG fans are saying its not an RPG, it could go down quite well
