Nope, they can't hear you and you can't hear them, no matter who mutes.
And being mean to kids isn't cool really.
Well that's even better. And yes it is, they're fucking annoying on XBL.

I think the worst weapon in the game is "8 Year Old Ear Rape Over Mic"...

It's an exclusive weapon that kept me from buying the game.
Same, but I got a mic, and after joining a server full of whinging pricks moaning in the lobby, I shouted, in a truly deep, booming, horrific voice:

"WOULD YOU MISERABLE LITTLE KIDS SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP MOANING. IT'S A FUCKING GAME. BE QUIET AND LET ME ENJOY MYSELF."

The server was silent for an entire match.
:D
;) Just doing my bit.

For me the worst weapon is a tie between the Deagle and the Uzi. The Deagle sucks way to much to be the last pistol unlocked and the Uzi is never used/sucks to much to be the last unlocked.

The weapon I hate the most is the 203. My biggest problem is that they are encouraged to use them.

EDIT: The heartbeat sensor on anything is cheap as hell. Those things don't even exist.
this game is a lil in the future yano, like 4-5 years, so in that time they could be invented, do you really think FMJ exists?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_metal_jacket_bullet
Armor-Piercing rounds ;) (Do note that in some cases FMJ would make less damage)

And OnT: F2000, ACR is more accurate, Mini-Uzi kills faster... etc

[edit]

ahh yeh forgot about them XD

Ninja ninjaing my FMJ-part. :(

Any handgun other than the .44 Magnum. USP and M9 are worthless peashooters and the Deagle can't be aimed whatsoever.
The magnum, however, has some usability, but a machine pistol is always better since they have a much faster fire rate.

Game balance is not the issue when you can dual-wield shotguns.
I just have an issue with any dual weapons in the game. It's just too much of a gamebreaker for me. Tactics go out the window when everyone is running around with dual 1887's I thought COD was supposed to be somewhat realistic.

I found the starting rocket launcher to be beyond terrible. It only comes with one shot, and you cant kill any of the air support with 1 round.... ok, maybe you can with danger close, but by the time you've unlocked that you've unlocked the far superior stinger!

regarding the 'cheapness' of some guns, i really dont understand how or why akimbo shotguns are so accurate, long range and awesome killing power, when akimbo anything else is a good way to see your accuracy head to about 0.001%

M21 EBR. It takes around 3 shots to kill someone without stopping power and its the last sniper you unlock. It's a fucking joke.
it has no recoil tho so instead of pullin the trigger for one shot the general point of the gun is to spray like a *****. i think all the guns are bad in mw2 but the only one i like to use over the others is the L86 LSW really :/

i never like the intervention...recoil was ridicules, but i still know some people love it, im not that big of a sniper so maybe im missing something
Its because apparently it shows or gives a sense of skill because of the bolt action, i'm using it to get the mastery and then go back to the Barrett but it is fun to kill someone with the Int.

OF: dragon rising is tactical MW2 was meant to be "fast-paced" but they completely fucked up the balance when they put in akimbo 1887, akimbo rangers, famas and W1200 because there is no need for skill with these guns

Played a match recently with 2 8 years old talking about how their clan is so cool, that you need a K/D ratio of over 2 and that you need to have had a nuke 20 times or more

Don't know how they were going to prove that last one...

Honestly, the Desert Eagle. They downgraded it to a useless hunk of shit, which really disappointed me. I enjoyed the Desert Eagle in CoD4.
I tried out the Deagle in MW2, and went straight back to the M9. I couldn't hit a god damn thing at point blank range, and even using the ironsights it took me four shots to kill a guy I was about three feet away from. Combine that with the small clip and one extra mag, what's the point? Had similar frustrating with the TMP - there's no reason to use any machine pistols than the PP2K and the G18. And the G18 (even though I love it) is an overpowered bullethose, especially if you unlock akimbo - which you will, in about three games.

Barrett .50 cal.. Like WHAT THE FUCK!?! You START the game with it unlocked and not only that, the Intervention does more damage then it. Yeah, yeah, balance and all that shit, but please explain to me how an Intervention does more damage then a .50 caliber round designed for anti-armor purposes.

Noobiest gun goes to the retarded dual shotties, and almost every dual-weildable weapon. This is MODERN WARFARE, not Halo.
By intervention, I'm going to make a SWAG and say it's the Chey-Tac Intervention? Chambered .408 CheyTac? With a bullet so ballistically sound it hits with more kinetic energy than a .50 BMG outside past 700 meters. The .50BMG isn't quite as good ballistically, and it loses energy in flight. By the time it hits the 700 meter mark, the CheyTac is the more powerful round, even if it's lacking the BMGs greater mass.

The more ya know...

EDIT: Yeah, totally don't play MW2. I would, but my PS3's doing it's best 360 impression at the moment.

Well it is a game...and we were talking about the game mechanics...and then you went off on one about realism in games.
Confused why you did that.
Pet hate is all, particularly in games that like to boast they are bringing near as possible realistic battles to your screen. The term realism gets thrown around so easily by the games marketing heads seeking to find a way to elevate their games above 'just another standard FPS.' To the point it now has no meaning! They always seem to do something like this, incorporating the standard FPS type physics and rubbing that fact in with something 'flashy' introduction like these throwing knives.

For once I would like a game that boasts the down right and dirty combat that you would see in real life to not push realistic physics to the side. Sure, it would be harder to implement a system which incorporates real physics and finds new ways to interface a feeling being to a unfeeling machine but if your not even going to try... well why bother trying to use realism as a marketing ploy?

Realism shouldn't be a meaningless catch phrase.

Long-distance sniping in MW2 is about 200 meters. Most maps you end up within 50 meters of your target. The only time you use the Barrett somewhat realistically is in CoD4, when you have to assassinate the bad guy, I forget his name. I believe he's about 800 meters away, and you have to deal with what I assume is a VERY exaggerated wind and Coriolis effect. The Barrett is even mounted and everything, although it has infinite ammo with no need to reload. Either way, I'm pretty sure a .50 round in the chest from 100 meters away would put you out of commission. IW should have really worked on the way they laid out weapon unlocks and the weapon stats, CoD4 was much better in this way.
