You cared enough to post and ask. That, in my book, qualifies you for being able to care less.

I honestly don't care that you don't care. Oh, and you do seem to care in some way judging by your minor fit against the genre. Other people like it and they're perfectly entitled to. It doesn't affect me if I don't play it, so I don't see why it matters to you.

My brother says he'll get BF3 because he liked the beta and he'll get MW3 because everyone we know is likely to get it and he wants to play with them. If he somehow gets them by spending what little money he has (the moron), I'll probably play them if I'm not on Assassin's Creed, Team Fortress 2, BlazBlue (my Lambda is pretty kickin' if I do say so myself), Persona 3/4, SMT Nocturne, SMT Digital Devil Saga, Catherine (eventually), Tales of Vesperia, Disgaea, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, or wrapping up my 1000 Gamerscore of Ninja Gaiden 2/Devil May Cry 4/Assassin's Creed 1 and 2. Then there's my anime backlog. The game's release/missing its release/reveal as the Second Coming does not affect me at all.

First of all, A topic on how you coulnd't care less? if you don't care why would you make the topic.

2. It's your opinion and you can hold that all you want, but I find it funny that everyone on the internet says that "the most anticipated game in history" is bullshit, yet right now it has already sold more pre-orders than BF3 has sold since release, and right now it looks like it may be the best selling game of the year according to most sales analysts. It's not really subject of your opinion, the fact is still that a buttload of people have pre-ordered it, and that makes it the most anticipated game in history.

3. The same was pretty much said for Black ops, and despite the horrible mess it was, it still outsold all other games that year, and until now still holds as the most pre-ordered game in history. Until MW3 is released that is.

It's amazing how vocal and impassioned people are about their apparent apathy towards MW3.

Kudos on judging a game before you even played it, that's one of the top 10 dick moves people do in these forums.
You have a list? Please do share.
You should make a thread asking people to list what they think as the top dick move that people do in these forums. You'll probably get at least 10 that way.

You can then rank them using a poll thread or something.

OT: I guess people are vocal and impassioned about apathy because apathy is easy.

I am looking forward to the single-player campaign.

No, seriously.

Come on, now that it looks like they've given up on any pretense of being realistic, I can treat it like a Michael Bay movie and just enjoy the spectacle. And since BF3 single player didn't quite scratch my itch for war-porn, I'm counting 'ol reliable CoD to satisfy my need for outrageously over-produced set-piece gameplay.

Congratulations I guess? I don't have any immediate plans to pick up a copy of MW3, but if the reviews are good and I have a bit of spare cash, maybe.

Pretty sure I've seen a thread like this already today... and yesterday...

The problem is that, "Game connisuer who doesn't care about Call of Duty and wishes it would go away" is by this point more of a hackneyed cliche then Modern Warfare. At least Modern Warfare has polish.

You don't have to like the game. You don't have to buy it, or care. However, end of the day, millions of people enjoy the shit out of it, and so by any sane definition, it is a very good game. There's a reason why a lot of different games get made. People like different things.
That's not a sane definition of a good game. because a lot of people like something does not make it good. Millions of people like Twighlight or Justin Beiber, and those are horrible. No, a good game has a well written story, great characters, fun and enticing gameplay, and a lasting appeal in both single and multiplayer. the COD franchise hasn't had any of that for me since MW1
Because you don't like something doesn't make it universally bad, enough people like Twilight and Beiber that they are obviously good in a large number of peoples opinions. This part is funny "No, a good game has a well written story, great characters, fun and enticing gameplay, and a lasting appeal in both single and multiplayer. the COD franchise hasn't had any of that for me since MW1" COD does have a well written story, great characters, fun and enticing gameplay and a lasting appeal in both single and multiplayer for me, which makes it a good game.

Wait I think I just figured something out....different people, now bear with me here this could be ground breaking, different people have different opinions about what is good or bad, and like different things....OH MY GOD! Alert the media people need to know!

You probably do care, otherwise you wouldn't be making a thread about it. Me, I will be enjoying it next week. Whatever other people might say, Call of Duty has been a franchise of damn good shooters.

Here's the thing, man. There are a lot of people whose only gaming experience every year will be the latest Call of Duty. There is nothing wrong with that! I know we're really into this whole gaming thing and wish more people would try the many other titles out there. I get that. But that's no reason to look down on others for enjoying an insanely popular shooter.

The only things I care about for the remainder of the year is AC: Revelations, starting my new job and the next few episodes of Shana.

MW3 can wait....a long time......like a camper....which is ironic.

Were it not for the innundation of sweet games being released over the second half of the year (Batman, Dead Souls, Skyrim, Deus Ex, Assassin's Creed etc) not to mention Mass Effect and others in the near future, I would probably have succumbed, as per usual. However, I can't justify the expense of yet another game in addition to the inevitable countless hours devoted to the multiplayer, although hearing Price's voiceover in the trailer did give me a guilty semi.

Eh... there not that bad I'll never get it but there not really terrible. Or at least people have mistaken its genericness for a bad game. If you look at Call of Duty games they're pretty well designed. Of course I mean its still boring.

God, I remember when I posted a forum topic like this when I first joined and got trolled by about a million people. Here's a hint Andrew Vandersteen don't make a zombie apocalypse thread the backlash is terrible.
