It's just starting to deteriorate now? But anyway, that video is stupid. And so is that Fred thing. And almost everything else on Youtube. Some things are still good.
Oh yes, Fred. I hadn't even touched upon THAT crap people call comedy. He even has his own deal with HOT TOPIC. I swear I thought those people had taste in comedy. How wrong I was...
My sister told me to watch it. It was so bad I couldn't even finish the first episode. And somehow he got on a Nickelodeon show! How does someone that bad get on TV *looks at all Disney Channel stars* nevermind...

Well I find it eerie that you can lose your faith in an entire
species just from one youtube video. Although I think I learned
your youtube account user name.

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.
Mahatma Gandhi
At this point 90% of the population is dirty water. It adds up after a while, if these two were the ONLY two jerks in the world the world would be a happy place.

Sorry I'm usually very optimistic but if you read one of my earlier posts you will see why that has changed.

Yeah I hate 4Chan 'humour' as well.

It basically involves being a total **** to get kicks, quoting the same tired meme over and over, posting pictures of cats and laughing at things because they're random despite not featuring any fucking humour whatsoever.

Who's this Fred guy?

And yes, those two are a particular brand of awful, but at least it's more creative than yet another Marilyn Manson anime music video. Ugh.

Well I was informed by a friend about these two "comedians" on youtube and what big shots they have now become. What I'm about to show you is what made them famous in the first place. Now I ask you fellow escapees. I am deeply confused. But tell me, how are these two masterminds "funny"?
YouTube has a lot of people with questionable taste in comedy. And I mean A LOT! Here's a link to a PROFESSIONAL Internet comic bitching about it: http://www.cracked.com/video_17015_5-most-popular-youtube-pages-are-all-retarded.html

I can see why you'd be pissed that something/someone like that could be so popular (on the internet atleast), but there's no use in letting it get to you.

Some people will always like worthless crap like that, so there isn't much that anyone can do about it.

People can get rich of anything that is crap these days. Just look how ridiculous our music industry is today, the thousands of crappy movies said to be box office hits ever year, the terrible Sonic games and so much other garbage clogging up the media industry. And you know what? There are people that love it and defend it by saying it's just taste and crap. Of course not everyone is like that.

I don't blame anyone for losing their faith in humanity, the media really has gone down a spiral of shit. Hopefully one day it will crawl out.

one piece of advice, don't ever visit 4chan...
another piece of advice, people laugh at things because it hurts.
Most people don't agree with this but after long and careful consideration I have discovered it to be true roughly 90% of the time.

Things like this are amusing because they are painful to watch...
I find that really interesting. How did you come to that?

Actually the idea was first presented to me many years ago in a novel called Stranger in a Strange Land , if you haven't read it even considering it's age it's still a top rate sci fi novel. Over the years it's kept coming back to me, and I've considered how often people laugh at others misfortune and at our differences.
Eventually I just came to conclusion that even though it was stated in a work of fiction I can't deny it. When I look at what is generally considered comedy, it's embarrassing, or differential, or down right cruel and on the whole it backs up that theory.

There's also that old saying of laugh so you don't cry... or something to that effect.

At any rate I've never been able to disprove it, so as of now I'm considering it a proven theory.

no, that isn't funny. why would that be considered funny?

ok, my sense of humour isn't great, so i might not be qualified to say that. all the same, i object strongly to the idea that it is genius. there are plenty of superior things that i can think of.

I'm with ya man. It's not that funny. And I'm not offended at the gay angle of the video one way or the other. It's just bland. It's like some lame skit at a high school pep rally. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think FRED is more amusing. 13 mil huh. Oh well.

Well, I have only one thing to say to you:
Welcome to our side of the wall.

Many people for many generations have observed the antics of their fellow Homo Sapiens and wondered "What the eff?" I - nobody, for that matter - do not know who was the first, but eventually one of our ancestors broke free of the bondage of the label "human" and relinquished all of his faith in the spacies. You are not the first, and certainly not the last. So come in, sit down, and start realizing that nobody could care less.
