I'm also looking for an easy RTS to get into, as I'm getting a bit bored with FPSes. I tried COH a couple of times but didn't enjoy it that much, same with World in Conflict and Warhammer 40K. I played the first mission of the C&C RA demo yesterday and I'll probably stick with that for the great cutscenes - Peter Stormare and Tim Curry rock! And I could take orders from that uber-hot "Russian" babe that gives you your missions all day and all night long... mmmmm....
But seriously, one problem I have is keeping track of all my units - I suppose I need to spend more time learning the necessary keyboard shortcuts. Right now whenever I play an RTS I get a bit bored with all the pointing, dragging and clicking. Is that a noob thing? Do most of you veteran RTS players use your keyboards more than your mouses?
