One of my best friends recently made a facebook profile similar to a guy that is aggressive and moderately dangerous. the profile is mocking the guy ALOT. now almost everyone in our grade knows it.
this day, a former friend of mine came up and told me to search on a facebook profile (the one that my friend did). i told him i had already seen it and he asked "so you know who did it?". by that i thought he knew who it was. so i said "yeah **** did it". so know he and his friend (good friend to the aggressive guy) told almost everyone but the aggressive guy. my friend is now thinking about changing school. i am drowning in guilt even though he forgave me. I feel like there is nothing i can do. anyone have an idea?

Your friend is an idiot for provoking an incredibly aggressive guy. It's also a really immature move. No offense, your friend has it coming, he threw the first stone. Changing schools would be a bit of a coward's way out. He can't simply run from a conflict. For all you know, the dude will simply ***** him out.

Sure, your friend couldget the shit kicked out for him, but it serves him right for mocking/humiliating another guy that happenss to be pretty aggressive

Sympathies.
I'm thinking your friend might want to just go talk to the guy, come clean. If he does it well and speaks respectfully, it could probably work.

Go have a fight and it'll be over.

The drama following school fights only last about a day.
(I'm presuming you're in school)

He shouldn't have made the page, you shouldn't have talked about it, but screw that. Dwelling on it wont to any good. By my experience, about now is the time to go have a small stone in the palm of your hand wherever you go, and stand by your friend no matter what happens. I've gotten myself beat up like this, but you'll feel so much better, and a friendship (by the sound of it, a good one) will be saved.

Well that wasn't too smooth on your part to be honest...
And kind of stupid on your friend's.

He could try to talk it out maybe? Apologise?

My suggestion is training montage.
If all else fails, this.

And if it comes to a fight, you better have his back.

Were highschool problems really this stupid when I was going? I'm sure they couldn't have been...

Here's the reality. Your friend may get punched. So fucking what? Bruises heal. Then three days later everyone will forget about it. That's pretty much all of school in a nutshell for you.

Your friend should have seen it coming. Really. Provocation is never a good idea.

To be honest it's his fault for making the page, if everyone in your grade knew already then it was only a matter of time before he was found out. Switching schools would be a massive over-reaction though to the risk of getting beaten up once.

If you didn't want this then maybe you should have never done it in the first place. I'm afraid that there isn't an easy way out of this one, for you or your friend. I think changing schools is a bit drastic, unless he is in serious danger. Just take the consequences and then carry on. That's all I've got I'm afraid, I never was all that sympathetic of a person.

Exact same thing happened to me pretty much. Let the course flow, your friend can take the beating if he needs it, he wont get it bad, a bust lip, a black eye and a few too many bruises, but he will be better for it.

Sometimes people just need a punch in the face, its true, I have been punched in the face a good few times and all the times that weren't actual random attacks I actually deserved it.

Live and learn man, sometimes you gotta learn the hardway. Its Karma, it aint gonna make the agro dudes life any better.

Tell your friend to be a man, apologize to the dude, and if he still wants to punch his face then let him.

The truth hurts.

Just get all your friends and when it comes down to the fight just stand beside the guy who is about to get beaten up and stare at the aggressive fucker without saying anythin, he'll be so freaked out he'll back down
