hey guys, i just came back from the dunwich dynamo and wanted to share my achievement before i pass out

the dunwich dynamo is a circuit going from hackney london to dunwhich beach (120 miles) ... not only did i go there but i also cycled back

it took me 7 hours and 55 minutes to reach dunwich ... but about 10 hours to cycle back since i was totally demolished and almost didn't make it back .. it started at 7pm then we cycled all night then enjoyed a few hours there and came back (no sleep and only 4 10 - 15 breaks)

calculating the time i did 240 miles in 18 hours and 55 minutes .. this is officially my greatest physical achievement to date .. but next year i'm going to try to smash that record

i was quickly put down by my cousin who sat at home getting high as usual who said that it's only a tenth of le tour de france .. but screw him .. i'm off to bed haha

what's your greatest physical achievement?

Does putting in all the strenuous effort to from starting karate lessons to becoming a Black belt within 6 years count? (A grading approximatley every 8 months)

If yes, then that.

My greatest physical achievement would be walking for 4 hours to get home, in the middle of the night, and completly and utterly smashed (drunk).

I don't really have a great physical achievement, but sophomore year of high school, while I was on my school's Junior Varsity baseball game I pitched a complete game shut out. It isn't that great of an achievement, but its the only thing I can think of at the moment.

My greatest physical achievement is beating a former UFC Heavyweight Champion [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Couture] in a sparring match.
Either that or becoming a black belt in Kyokushin Karate and a black belt in Brazilain Jujitsu.

All of your attempts are feeble in comparison.

Used to be Ishinryu, but then my Sensei had a falling out with Ticky Donovan (the head honcho), so we broke away and formed Kaicho-kai, an offshoot of Kazen-kai.

I have two of my own.

One was a twenty mile walk around Boston during the Walk for hunger back in May.

And last week I went up to New Hampshire to climb Mt. Washinton, the tallest (and windiest) moutain in all of New England.

HAHAHAHA!!

That type of story is similar to mine...only we managed to end up in another state...with no memory of ever getting there...

Another mate of mine in a similar achievement took his anti depressant medication with vodka and woke up naked on someones front lawn 3 suburbs away the next morning with no recolection of getting there...

I gotta say, that's really, really impressive. I don't really have any example of my own to add, but I just wanted to congratulate you on being able to do something like that for that long of a time all at once.

I saved a little girl and a pregnant woman when they got swept away on a windy day at the lake. A guy in a boat tried to get at us with a boat and the wind nearly made the damn thing hit us.

So swimming and dodging vehicles.

Probably not quite the answer you were looking for, but - eating 7 double cheeseburgers from McDonald's in one sitting, and living. Hey, my digestive tract is physical, right?

Thats probably gonna be my efforts in the gym. I started working out just 2,5 months ago, and since then, I managed to change myself from the state of a total weakling who had problems with pumping anything more than an empty bar, to pumping 60kg during chest press, and I feel I can go further soon. Looking at my friends who started working out earlier than me, and they are on the same (and some of them on even lower) level, I consider that a big success.

Yeah, I got nothing. My achievments are intelectual, not physical.

But while I was in the scouts, we routinely did long distance treks. I've done hikes in the summer and treks in the winter to the tune of 15-20 miles a day fully loaded(That's 50-75% body weight in gear).
