doing something ina game thats funny, isn't funny. because everyone else is there to Play The Game. and doesn't want it ruined by someone who thinks driving over a guy on their team in a tank is funny

The only gut I know who plays Halo, is a year older than me, jokes around a lot, but ALWAYS brings up Halo when we talk about games.
If you did somthing like shooting somebody's feet telling them to dance, stealing the vehicles and trying to get people to do somthing, or other such gesture, it may have been considered greifing.
A lot of people who play, play for score, and do not like people with a sense of humor.

I do that stuff all the time, although teabagging your own guys does get a few people pissed, as long as your winning and don't kill them it isn't bad.Adragon45 said:

Greifing is spoiling others fun for the hell of it. Shooting your teamates for shits and giggles is one thing, haveing fun with the game (i.e. riding mongooses through grav lifts) is another thing entirely.Dr.Sean said:

Totally depends on what your doing for laughs. I tend to giggle at multiplayer games I'm playing but only because I or someone else messed up.
Usually me missing a bloody easy back knifing in CoD4 then getting shot, I was so good at bashing in CoD2, why change the melee mechanic?! albeit very very slightly.

Yeah, I agree with D4zZ. I constantly tell jokes over the Mic, and when I'm playing in a Private Match, I'll start singing.

on-topic: i dont play halo myself, though if he same would apply for tf2 (which i assume it does) then generally i dont see why it would be a problem (unless you dont actually play at all) on a more laid back server, or at least one thats not competitive. once you get onto those types of servers, then anything less than killing 10 guys a minute would get you hated.
