On topic, I'd pay good money to see a MLP/Tengenn Toppa Gurren Lagann crossover. I can just imagine a pony several thousand times the size of a galaxy. And it is awesome.

If you replace every instance of "drill" with "horn" when looking at Gurren Lagann quotes, it works perfectly.

I've been considering the idea of trying to take TTGL episodes and setting the audio to MLP clips to try to get full episodes. But I don't have much experience (read: any) editing videos, and it would be hard to do. What with there being more episodes of Gurren Lagann than there are of MLP.

Maybe if nopony else has tried it by the time we finish up with Season 3. By then there will probably be enough clips to do something good.

Unrelated: I am disappointed by the number of people saying things like "anyone/anybody" in a pony thread. Learn proper grammar guys.

I wouldn't mind a TF2 crossover...

My little pony can't do a legitimate crossover with anyone except the original version of themselves. Ignoring this would bring about the disaster that was caused when TMNT and power rangers crossed over.

But that ruins all of the fun now doesn't it? What fun can be had if we are forced to constrain our thoughts on what is possible instead of what would be awesome?

OT: I'd like to see a TMNT and Power Rangers cross over with MLP.

I am accounting for the variable of awesomeness and there is none. My little pony is a above average typical children's cartoon with a strong gearing towards a young female audience. In order for the characters to be of any value to a given product they must offer the pinnacle of there characters and there abilities. The my little pony characters do have things to offer (that isn't supplemented by some temporary non canon super power called the "use this to be useful" weapon) but it's far and far away from the boy geared shows like Teenage mutant ninja turtles and power rangers. Put it too far into a familiar elements though and my little pony characters could be wasted such is the case if one made a crossover with them and say strawberry shortcake or hello kitty (although hello kitty has had it's moments)

Something very child friendly but still being able to retain some form of good action while also being silly and having lots of funny little jokes and puns and whatnot? Hmm. Any show from the old disney afternoon block would work especially the gummi bears. Non Disney show I would think possibly care bears.

But in order to make it work you'd have to put sooo much effort into making sure it isn't a nonsensical mess or rife with really annoying crossover cliches and that it actually comes off like an organic product rather than a blatant cash in from a person who just wants there paycheck.

It would only be worth the time of truly mad people or some insane sugared up 13 year old girl with a fanfiction.net account and nothing to lose.

It would be cool if we can put together random stuff and come up with something awesome like say any given comic of Axe cop but it just doesn't happen for most materials My little pony especially.

This coming from what exactly? MLP:FiM has many a fanfiction about it, and surprisingly enough, most of them are freaking awesome. I've seen My Little Pony Doctor Who, My Little Pony Fallout, My Little Pony God of War, My Little Pony Harry Potter etc. etc. Combining MLP with anything actually works, and your assumption that it doesn't is pretty much unfounded.

My assumption is based on the show itself and not the fanfiction also I cannot take your opinion on the quality of the fanfictions you have read for you are bias to them. My little pony is not the Ms Dash of television shows. Your value far outweighs its actual abilities.

I think it would be interesting to see a Alice in Wonderland/Labyrinth/Phantom Tollbooth kind of crossover where one of the ponies go and travel into some kind of fantasy, magical and somewhat dreamlike land, you know one that is totally different than the one they already live in.

I think it'll be interesting to see a crossover between A Nightmare Before Christmas and having the ponies or Jack Skeleton travel to each other worlds. Also, I like to see a Midori Days http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midori_Days kind of crossover where one of the ponies literally become a hoof for another pony and I think it'll be pretty funny. Another idea would be a Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko crossover http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denpa_Onna_to_Seishun_Otoko . Fluttershy wrapped in a futon and talking nonsense about aliens would adorably funny.
