Heresy, my word is law! And if bronies have a naughty side then they have a naughty side!

[small]Who is "they"?[/small]
They is me not knowing whether you were a man, or woman. I really don't like getting corrected on that sort of stuff.

Also I agree, some bronies are well. [small]Rule 34, Cupcakes, Luna's Game, Sweet Apple Massacre[/small]. That is the naughty side.

Yes but that dragon was basically covering the whole of Equestria in smoke! Which would probably choke and kill most of the ponies if it got bad. So they had every right to move that dragon. Also, you think that is a bad reason then go watch friendship is witchcraft. It's a fandub and in their dub of that episode they said the reason for moving the dragon was because the kids had nothing to throw rocks at. Also that dragon barely tolerated the ponies! He tried to burn them alive!
The dragon tried to burn them because he is clearly a darwinist. I'm sure the reason dragons evolved into something that breathes fire is because they are carnivores and it aids in his hunting. He was sleeping in a cave because he knows that is what his species has adapted to do and if he doesn't sleep there where does he sleep. He is not going to let the tangible morals brought on by self awareness to allow him to be bossed around by others and self sacrifice for others. Quite frankly they didn't respect his philosophy.

Been mentioned, but I'll repeat:

Got a positive message wrapped in a preachy ridiculous, mind-numbing package? Not gonna get much traction.

Got a positive message wrapped in an amusing, witty, friendly and colourful package? That will get more mileage.

Works in advertisting. Can work in personal arguements. Can work for any form of persuasion and message.

Aww, and here I thought you were playing along by using the majestic plural. That would have been much (dare I say 20%?) cooler.

I think we may be getting a bit too deep. I thought I over thought things, but this is just too deep. Still, this is fun for me. Beats debating about whether the show is mature or not.

You say the dragon is a carnivorous and predator, but in almost all the episodes they are seen as creatures that stay in one place until threatened. Also why do you put the welfare of one dragon over the lives of thousands of ponies? The rights of the few does not work when something as bad as a smoke cloud is choking your people to death. Also when Rainbow Dash actually tried to be bossy then that is when the dragon got annoyed. He was right in doing so because they used unnecessary force. But Fluttershy basically just tells him that trying to hurt her friends just because one of them didn't do the right thing is wrong and he should be better than that. That also applies to the fact that he should be considerate and not so selfish by sleeping in a place that endangers a lot of ponies.

Majestic, me. Those two do not fit together.

Also I just took my pony personality test, I'm Pinkie and Twillight. So it's telling me I'm a crazy nerd. Fair play, that is exactly what I'm like in real life!

Do you have the image? This is mine:
It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but third-party confirmation is nice.

New pony thread page, new pony user group link:

I recommend anyone who joins turn chat notifications off when prompted as the group chat is generally quite active.

You guys might want to have this for a later date:
For when the thread gets back on track, away from the argument of dragons, and their habbits.

...why did you have to create this thread?

It was going so nicely, and you ruined it. I thought this was gonna be a hater thread. I could've pulled out a simple, "You're the first pony thread in awhile" statement. But nope, it's you.

It's just a cartoon for the love of God. Why can't it just stay that way? I have no problem with bronies, or whatever but please stop it. Stop trying to make it more than it is. Yes, yes, kiddy lessons I love em but please now. I kinda like the show actually, and I find the images and videos amusing, but it's shit like this that just kinda ruins everything.

/minor overreaction on my part.

While my connection is good enough to handle that .gif, as a courtesy to those with poor internet I'd suggest that you put it in spoiler tags.

And it's not like there was much to discuss anyway. We finally found a pony thread with a minimum of flame (*knock on wood*) and we're enjoying it while it lasts.

Believe me. We are saving this thread with a bit of light hearted debate. Would you rather be a debate on whether people who like the show are social recluses or one about the philosophy of a dragon? I'm pretty sure it's the latter! Also the OP really didn't provide much discussion value, and it's nice for a brony to finally have the chance to talk about the show not in the laggy chat so we take the chance like we can!

Forgive me if I'm wrong which I obviously am probably but isn't Equestria a planet. If the dragon is covering all of equestria then it doesn't matter if you make him move. Also it is implied that the dragon needs to sleep for his own good, a necessary evil. Therefore the only option is to kill the dragon. However it is blatantly obvious that the dragon is far more capable than the ponies and they used morals to assert control of something that they otherwise would have been destroyed/eaten by.

If that was recent it may have saved your results in a cookie. I went back to retake it a day later and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was still there.

Equestria is more like a Continent. It is known that there is a seperate massive landmass for Griffons so it isn't a planet. It's not a planet since the place had to actually be founded (See Hearths Warming Eve), then expand so it's probably a kingdom or continent. It's definetly not a planet. Also since the Dragon was on top of a mountain, a pretty elevated positing then the smoke can easily get everywhere. Whereas in another episode we see a dragon in a cave in a forest quite close to PonyVille, but since it is surrounded by trees then the smoke doesn't spread much. Yeh the dragon has to sleep, it's probably hibernation since he had a lot of gems in the cave and in the FiM universe dragons eat gems. So basically they were telling the dragon to move to a place so one, he can sleep more peacefully and two he won't be covering a large space with smoke. It's really as simple as the ponies wanting to move something that could kill them, not kill it just move it. If they wanted to kill it they would of sent their actual armies.

Sorry I don't know how to check my cookies. I'm using chrome if you want to help. Be quick since I need some sleep!

Well based on your logic and my morals the ponies are in the right, however they didn't have to be so rude, and if they have armies and this is such an emergent issue then why didn't the queen(there is no queen mentioned and the princess is in charge so I assume she should be queen) send in something to properly deal with the scope of what is happening? She seems to either be extremely inattentive of her kingdom or have extreme confidence in 6 people who have never dealt with a dragon before. No the library helper one doesn't count.
