He has a legitimate topic of discussion: the appearance of MLP shirts in the mass market. That's better than a lot of threads have. If you do not wish to participate, you don't have to click on the thread.

Oh sure I'm not participating on this thread. I'm just saying, we could have other interesting topics to discuss here, but instead we are discussing this one. Over and over.

I kind of thought it was kind of mainstream already.

I remember seeing this one guy at school wearing a shirt that had Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. So I highly doubt the show is in any ways obscure.

You kind've are, though. Twice now, if fact.

Forum topics are not zero-sum.

I do not recall the appearance of MLP shirts in the mass market ever being discussed here before.

It's not mainstream by any stretch of the imagination. A few pieces of licensed merchandise =/= mainstream.

I just hope they keep making shirts like this one:

So. Awesome.

The look of it turned me off. I don't like the new animations for that or carebears for that matter. If i like like the animation i won;t want the programm casue it will annoy me to much
Well, the show uses Flash instead of traditional animation. Its look is also highly reminiscent of the "chibi" style popularized by Japanese manga and anime, hence the rounded heads and huge eyes. I'm normally not a huge fan of such visuals, but it just seems to "fit" with the theme of the show. I understand if others don't care for it, though.

Also, what grown man would wear a MLP shirt? Just out of sheer curiosity.
I don't own any of the shirts...yet. I'm just waiting for the holidays to end in case I get a few for Christmas. I've asked for a few different ones so far:

I'm almost 26 years old, so make of that what you will.

That. Is an awesome shirt.
I'm kinda surprised at the amount of cool MLP shirts that have made. Pleasantly surprised

I would buy Fallout: Equestria related merchandise. In a heart beat. Without a second thought. Unfortunately, I have no idea how copyright/IP laws would work in regards to that - although the show's creators (of My Little Pony: FiM) seem pretty cool and down to earth, so they might not even give a crap.

As a grown man, I can say that I proudly wear my Brony shirt around town, to my college classes, pretty much wherever I would wear a normal t-shirt. I get a few weird looks sometimes, but I honestly don't really care. What normally happens though is people either A) say they are a brony as well and give me a fist bump, B) say how awesome Rainbow Dash is(cause she's on my shirt), or C) ask where I got the shirt, to which I immediately point them towards the Hot Topic in the mall by my apartment.

Tbh, if I saw an adult male wearing one of these I would instantly begin to think low of him. They might be a great guy but the whole thought of a grown male wearing a shirt aimed at young girls is kind of repulsive :| Just my 2 cents let's not get to lynching me aye

Except that the shirts are clearly not aimed at young girls. That is why they are sold in adult sizes. The company has recognized the adult audience and is marketing directly to them.

Would you think differently if it was someone wearing a mickey mouse shirt? Or any other shirt of a cartoon character? And, no. I'm not lynching you. Just curious. Anyways, these specific shirts aren't aimed a little girls. They're aimed at adults.

Holy shit, I didn't even know there was Pony stuff for adults. I just went to WeLoveFine and ordered two hoodies and four tees. Thanks for the heads up, guys. Best damn fashion tip this season.

Edit: I'm slightly concerned that this might just be paying one company instead of supporting those who made the show (or failing that, Hasbro who owns the IP). The site says that it's only licensed tees and no bootlegs, but since most of those images are fanart does that mean that they're licensed from the artist or from Hasbro/Showmakers?
The company is licensed to make MLP themed t-shirts. They probably buy the designs off people (though not clear on the specifics), but royalties being paid out would go to Hasbro.

Actually, while on the topic of welovefine... if you order with the code 'EQUESTRIA10', you get a 10% discount (well that's what the banner ad on Equestria Daily says). :)
