the "thankfully just one" asian thing is a little unnecessary don't you think?

You see, I'm extremely picky of my friends, both online and off. You'll find that this really helps. A good percentage of my online friends I've scheduled to meet in real life, two of them say that I'm more like family to them then some of their more distant relatives, etc etc. And of course offline I have great friends as well. Not to say I have that many friends, mind you, that's the major downside.

But quite frankly, I pick quality over quantity any time.

Lucky bastard. I also question my "friends." But it's usually "are they even really friends."

Haha most of the time the people you don't like but don't say anything about come flocking towards you. Maybe they take your indifference as you being I don't know laid back and cool to talk to? That is if you are indifferent towards them. You probably still hang with them because you either don't want to be mean, or you don't talk much, hence the long (understandable) rant.

I didn't have that many people like that, everyone thought that since I was always glaring I was mean...but it was because of the sun..and I wear glasses so I couldn't wear sunglasses.

Most of the people who did talk to me despite me looking(and essentially being) like a prick stuck with me because they actually got to know me. So I didn't really experience what you are going through. Good luck with those buddies, mate.

I have one friend like that. He started out as just a little crazier then the rest of us, then he slowly got worse and worse. He frequently drives drunk(He says he's a better driver drunk, which actually wouldn't be hard, considering how he drives while sober), and...well, he just became a DICK. For example, I mentioned that one of our friend's parents were out of town for a weekend (I brought it up late Sunday) and he was actually OFFENDED that that friend hadn't thrown a house party. Like it was his DUTY or something.

But I really stopped respecting him when he started cheating on his girlfriend CONSTANTLY. Eventually, they got to the point where they hated each other, but he somehow convinced her not to dump him, even though he didn't give two shits about her. Why? Because he liked cheating on her. He even asked me to lie to her about his cheating, and basically called me a bad friend for not doing it.

Proud to say I haven't seen him in about a month.

What do you mean thankfully you only hang out with one asian? You know not all asian people are like that guy you hang out with?

My advice is stop hanging around people who like pop and rap, that seems to be the link.

Sorry, can't say I can relate :(

I'm very picky about my friends, so the ones I have are the best :3 (even if I don't have many - quality over quantity right?)

I choose my friends carefully. So I am with a good group of people. We all relate to each other, and have a good time.

This. I hang with people who have similar, positive attitudes and who have similar interests.

I can get along with anyone but I have very few true friends...and none within 200 miles of me geographically. (nearest one lives in San Francisco---we went to high school together back East.)

As far as "how is this person my friend?" type people---how desperate for companionship ARE you, anyway? If I'm around someone who I don't like, I don't keep that person as a friend!

Maybe you hang out with them because, without knowing it, you are like them? Naah, never mind =3.

Everyone has annoying friends, hopefully you have some that you don't want to hit in the face this bad...

Basically this, so take the following with a grain of salt.

I would suggest just stop hanging out with them. If they annoy you, ignore them until they go away and you won't have a problem anymore.

I am friends with literally the entire school, save about 10 people. My grade has about 200-250 students. So yeah, I can't really help.

I can relate-ish. I have this one mate, scratch that, parasite named Huddley. Most annoying little F***er it has even been my misfortune to meet. He's an attention seeker, he's stroppy, he thinks he's some kind of intimiating hard ass which he's not, he thinks he's all "cool" and aloof, he has trouble shutting his mouth and he can't seem to understand that when a teacher says "your not allowed your phone in school" and he has a second phone in his pocket its not cool its pitiful.

For a while after we'd gotten into year 11, since we now had access to a room with a TV he brought his new xbox 360 (the new shiny and smaller one which he apparently traded his old xbox and PS3 for, when really he just a hissy fit in front of his mum) and got upset when people started beating him at CoD, so much so that he unplugged the xbox and TV as we were watching the commonwealth games.

so, long story short: I understand what you mean when you talk about annoying friends.
