If it's a DLC they better make it the best DLC that ever was created after their previous DLC record + DA2. Maybe even release something of the length of Awakenings as a DLC at a price of DLC. Then i'll consider buying it. BioWare has a bit to say sorry for in my eyes.

Bioware's relationship with DLC has been... murky, at best. Dragon Age DLC more straight up weak, so hopefully they all went to learn at the feet of the Bad Dude's (gender neutral) responsible for Lair of the Shadowbroker on how to make great DLC.

While I thought DA2 was an excellent game with many niggling flaws which tried to stray from the path set by the first game in a few too many areas, if this first dlc/xpac is on the level of LotSB or, god forbid, a Mask of the Betrayer, I think that would turn the non-trolls around

I can't see Griffins, I can see Griffin statues which make sense as it's probably a grey warden building but I don't see any real Griffins.

Also before anything relating to Dragon Age comes out I want a bloody patch to fix the Epic achievment for PS3. I finished the game twice and no trophy I already have Dragon Age for the Xbox so I'm not buying it again to get a platinum trophy.

It's DA2 DLC and I couldn't be more happy about, I was just thinking the other day where the hell is my DA2 DLC. Ding!

Still don't understand the hate of DA2, it's just more action packed than strategy from the original. You still get the same deep dark lore of the dragon age universe and if you aren't here for the story than why the fuck are you playing an RPG! Haters be haters I guess.

I'm gonna say the Anderfels. I have a nasty habit of reading codex entries and this place looks like the Anderfels to me. The griffons are part of it too because that's where the Wardens came from.

As soon as I read the part in the Dragon Age lore that said griffon's were thought to be "Extinct" I knew that they would eventually bring them back.

$100 says Dragon Age 3 will be a prequel.

Seeing how Da2 ended with Leliana searching for both champions I really doubt Da3 it will be a prequel.

Yes, the hint at griffins is potentially interesting. They were thought to be extinct so I'm not sure how they're going to explain that away. Also, I'm also kind of not hoping there won't be a flying mechanic, I can see million ways that could go wrong.

Just scrap DA2, retcon it into some other franchise and let DA just be the first one. No sequels, no prequels, nothings! Just a good stand-alone game, what's wrong with that?

Sometimes no explanation is better then a shitty one. When there is no conclusive 'wrap-up' ending you can let your own imagination fill in the blanks. A lot of great stories still have their mysteries.
