Norse mythology is the best, the gods are mortal, actually care about us without being emotional pricks every time we so much as trip on a rock, and their constantly fighting jotuns for us.
I honestly think, from reading your OP that you'd benefit from checking out anything from a guy called Joseph Campbell, inparticular a book called 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces'.feather240 said:I just have to go ahead and say this. I was taking the trash out and thinking about how life could be better. You know if it was exciting rather than the same boring crap you, me, and everyone else in the world has had to put up with, or in reverse, it?s very interesting but scary, traumatizing, and just sick. Wouldn?t it be nice if mythology was real? Life would be a lot more interesting, like a movie almost. You don?t have to worry about faith, since it would be obvious that it was real, and you could do all kinds of fun things. Like flying, making it so other people can?t fly, and making it so other people can?t make you not fly, just the overall magical, afterlife, eternal suffering package. Being a good person would defiantly account something, and life would just be exciting. Wouldn?t it be nice to live in a world where death doesn?t really matter that much, since there would be some kind of afterlife thing, and everyone would actually care about being nice? I just want to know what you think of it, the kind of mythology you?d want, and what you would do with your life.
Sorry if their are any errors, hail Zeus, ect.
