[Time Travelling Toaster]

The shaking guards pointing guns at black skinned monster walking towards them raise a smile from Vasilli.

"Are you scared about this?" he growls before being drowned out by the explosion of gunfire.

The bullets slam into the mineral covering his chest before falling to the ground, mangled beyond recognition. "My turn?" he grins darkly before lashing forward with the two flexible spikes on his back, tearing the guards chests open before slamming into their hearts.

The two men fall to the ground admist pools of blood.

"Tell me, why are you here Michael? You do not seem...violent enough for this? he asks flicking the spikes to clear the blood.

Sorry for...the missing-ness, I was moving home, so couldn't post for a few days.

Eryn was still lying on the ground, her body in too much pain to even move. First the doctor.. then everyone else. When I get out of here no human in this facility is going to get out alive. She moved her hand to wipe the sweat from her forehead, wincing in pain as she did so.

Her nose perked up a bit. New scent. Smells like more Mythos and.. another human. Must be more subjects. But what's that other scent? Smells like.. black powder? Explosives?

"What the hell is going on out there?"

Azure followed the dragonkin closely, wondering why he shouldn't just kill as many humans as he could find.

"what grudge do you hold against the humans?"

hearing this question images flooded into his head, so many corpses, littering the ground, lit up by the moonlight, he clenched his fist and watched blue flame flicker to life around his claw, eager to escape and burn everything around.

"my grudge? humans slaughtered my clan with no reason, so in return i will slaughter them, simple as that. In the time i have had in their world i have not yet fulfilled my vengeance and it is doubtful that i ever will, but i will damn well take down as many as i can in my attempt."

Azure opened and closed his clawed hand to put out the flame, there were other duties before his own desires.

"...so, what about you? what grudge do you hold?"

"I hold a vendetta against the Human United Nations." Burst began, speaking quietly. "For many years, my elder brother served as an ambassador between humans and Mythos. When the Human U.N enacted their xenocidal policies, my brother joined a resistance movement in order to try and bring about peace by force. He was murdered by the Human U.N... and to make sure that his soul rests easily, I will bring about his dream of unity, or die trying, bringing down as many Human U.N. soldiers as I can with me."

Burst looked around a corner, and saw two human guards, their backs turned... Easy prey.

"Move quickly, more will come." Burst told the Arashei. "Now."

Burst moved with great speed, and gripped the faces of the human guards, his claws covering their screaming mouths. With a loud *snap* the guards lay dead and bleeding from their necks and faces.

"Come, we must finish our job and get the Draugr out of this prison." Burst said, moving through the hallway towards the Weapons Testing Facility.

Michael smiled and rounded a corner ahead of Vasili.
A U.N. soldier carrying an M16 gazed at the tall figure who stood before him.

"I show violence"
Michael took the man's gun and crushed it within his palm. Then with his free hand, he gripped the man's head and turned it. Hearing a slight 'snap' sound, he tossed the motionless body into a corner and kept walking.

"...when required"

Michael and Vasili were walking through the Prosessing and Interrogation chambers. Bloody tools lay on tray's and lines of cupboards and shelves were filled with all types of chemicals and tools.

And they call us monsters?
Michael thought to himself as he grunted at the sight of all this.

"We are nearing the Holding Cells.... there is Isolation!"
He finally barked out, noticing a big steel door next to another, not so heavy looking door.

"Alright, you find a way to remove some of those bolts, I'll begin prying the doors off"

That "not so heavy looking door" is the door to the Holding Cells, nevermind that

Azure watched as the dragonkin took down the guards and followed him down the hallway towards the entrance to the weapons testing facility, naturally the door was a heavy one to keep out unwanted intruders, Azure tried the door and it was naturally locked, with a slight grin he put his clawed hand against the door, blue flame again flickered to life, waves of heat eminating from his palm Azure began to melt the lock, after a few moments he slowly pushed at the door, there was no resistance, he turned to the dragonkin.

"you ready?"

Rolf had felt a rumbling through his cell a few moments earlier, and now the familiar sound of the weapon facility's internal alarm barely pierced through the door into his cell.

What was going on? Had another unlucky Mythos managed to escape while he was being lead to the weapons test? If so, then the alarm would soon be turned off, and the poor mythos would have to be wiped from the walls and floor. The guards here were surprisingly well equipped, not like your run-off-the-mill UN soldier. Most of them had advanced weaponry, and those who didn't always had some close at hand, and they all knew very well how to handle them.

Rolf stopped trying to burst the restraints as he listened intently on what was happening outside, it was at times like this he wished he had better senses.

 

[Time Travelling Toaster]

"Can I not just do it the easy way?" Vasilli asks, flipping the spikes back over his shoulders to point at the bolts.

One of the spikes rips into the bolt, pulling it out slowly before clanking to the floor.

"Easier, no?" he asks smiling before returning to work on the other bolts.

 

[Lost In The Void]

The General smiled as he kept walking, letting the human fend for himself. He was going to have to learn fast that there would be no catering to the lowest common denominator. Three guards ran at him, two with rifles and the front man with a stun rod. The General smiled as they met head on. He blocked a swing of the rod and broke the man's arm. He shot the man in the foot and as he keeled over, spun over his back, shooting him once more in the head. The two other guards prepared to fire he threw the now empty pistol at one of the guards, who ducked to avoid it, as well as distracted the second shooter. This small moment allowed the General to pull out the two SMGs and fired a small burst in the heads U.N soldiers' heads.

He holstered the two guns, adjusted his suit and walked towards the classified zone. He was stopped at the gate by two more armed soldiers. He acted casual, like one of the staff. They began to pat him down and he struck, cracking his elbow into the face of the searcher, while the human disarmed and killed the other. Walking through the clearance area, he saw only one cell. It had a slot and a the label said "Skin Walker #1."

"Human," he said open the gate on the console."

He waited as the small door opened and before him, pacing like the animal he partially was, stood the Skinwalker.

As his door opened, the first thing Wes saw was what looked to him to be a UN soldier. Exterminate me? he thought, and leapt through the door. He tackled the soldier and took him to the ground, then crouched on his chest. The man offered little resistance other than a surprised yelp. In his peripheral Wes spotted someone else, so he grabbed the soldier by the jaw and held his head back, pulled a sidearm from his holster and pointed it at the other one.

As he saw the General his grip slackened. "Anthony?" he asked, forgetting about the soldier and standing up to get a better look. As he reached a conclusion in his mind, his mood abruptly turned hostile again. "You've been alive all this time?"

 

[Lost In The Void]

The General or as he was known to his old associates, Anthony had a SMG pointed at Wes's head as he held the human hostage, "Wes that human is with us, let him go. After you have done that we will talk."

"You've been alive all this time?"
"You've been alive all this time?"

The words echoed in his head, an accusation, bitter resentment at being trapped like an animal while Anthony was free to do as he wished. He hadn't been free though, and he still remained bound to what had saved him, but he would share that once they were out of the prison, "Wes, we've come to save you, I know its two years too late, but I will explain why once we are out of here," he walked up to Wes and handed him one of the guns, "You're gonna need this."

Meanwhile outside of the compound it was chaos. The soldiers and inmates were locked in a vicious battle, though the humans were winning. Reinforcement came in the form of the two Dryads who provided sniper cover while the inmates ran or attacked the guards. This was raging on while the others broke the other Mythos out of the special cells. The Mythos outside were near exterminated when the soldiers saw one of the Dryads and opened fire on the mound where it was hiding. The rounds punctured the cover and the Dryad was killed. His brother only two feet away slunk to the ground almost immediately after. The compound was silent and the soldiers moved back into the internal buildings to hunt who had killed their brethren.

As Michael noticed all the bolts on the floor, he had finally gotten a grip on the door.
"Alright, let's see if this thing'l budge!"

The door started slowly at first, but then Michael ended up throwing it casualy away towards one of the chairs in the Interrogation section.

"You hear that?"
Michael said, turning his head slightly.
"Dammit! The snipers are down!" He called into the com link he had on; it broadcasted straight to the General.

"I repeat! The snipers are down, incoming heavy guard forces.... I can hear them coming as we speak! Warn the others and tell them to get ready!"

Michael noticed there were two cells.
"Alright Vasili, the cells are easy picking, you stay here and fend off the guards while I go fetch our target! You got more combat capability and I have more strength, just hang in there and vault some of those tables for cover. I suspect they're carrying heavy weaponry"

Michael stepped into the Isolation chamber, the two cells standing on each side.
As he managed to pry open one cell, he found it was empty.

"Vasili, target's in here!" Michael knocked on the closed door.
"Give me a few more seconds!"

Michael started to pry at the door, creating little cracks in the bolts, eventually bending it so much it snapped and the hinges were soon to follow.

"Just a few more seconds!!"
Michael gasped out, noticing Vasili had run into trouble with the guard force.

They were running out of time.

Wes cautiously moved away from Justin, handing him back the sidearm when he crawled to his feet. He looked back at Anthony and took the SMG.

"I can't leave yet." he said, putting his fingers behind his ear and showing the tag. "I need to find the doctor and make him take this off. As long as it's on, I . . . can't change." He looked away as he finished, as if ashamed to admit his weakness.

Burst removed the door from his way, and opened up the passage where they were keeping the Draugr. The smell of undead was eminent, and Burst followed it until he found the ancient creature.

"Draugr." Burst said to it. "The General has sent us to release you from this place. Have you enough strength to free yourself from the restraints, or shall I do it?"

 

[Baldrek]

Rolf looked up at the dragonkin and the other mythos in front of him with his empty sockets.

"If I could... Then I wouldn't still be bound here, would I?" He replied in a gruff voice, clearly not used to converse for a long time.

"... And who is this 'General'? Are you Blackjacks?"

 

[Jedoro]

"Alright, then let's go find him," Justin commented, checking his rifle. "My bullets can get through their armor, so I should buy us plenty of time to search if we run into those guards. Any idea where to start looking for him?" While he didn't appreciate almost being killed, he knew this guy was important and, at the very least, an ally. He gave my gun back, too, so he must be alright. Just remember, he's been here two years, he'll need to get used to the freedom again, he thought, scanning the hallways for guards.

 

[Time Travelling Toaster]

The guards form a firing squad in front of the doorway they had previously torn down, facing the black Unborn form of Vasilli.

Ready...fire! the captain screams as a volley of heavy fire is unleashed upon the target. As the cordite and smoke settle, amongst the light clanks of the shells hitting the floor, several soldiers pipe up. Is it down? is the most common phrase echoing amongst the squad.

Vasilli is seen through the crowd kneeling lowly, holding his side, "my turn?" he winces trying to hide the bullet hole before darting towards the squad, the blades held widely.

The graceful arcs of the attacks rips through the first few guards, cleaving them in half cleanly.

Retreat! the Captain squeaks running from the chaos of the slaughter. The spikes slam into his shoulder, tearing through the gap in his collar bone and popping back past his shoulder blades, lifting him up into the air.

"You take our allies, and then try and kill us for helping them?" he growls before sliding the blade into the mans spine, he gasps in agony as the blade is retracted along with the spikes, dumping him on the ground carelessly.

He heads back towards the entrance, stepping over the bodies, "are you nearly done?" he asks Michael as if nothing had happened.

Michael popped the door off and threw it to the side.

"Yes, stand back and be on guard for more!"

Michael walked inside and scanned the room. Finding his target, he reached out his hand in a gentle gesture and spoke.

"We're here to rescue you! Your old General from Paris sends his regards..."

 

[Meta_Trooper]

Azure expected more guards than they had encountered but none seemed to be around, while the dragonkin spoke to the draugr Azure stood outside, it was quiet now, there were no more sounds from outside.

"...they're coming, i'd hurry up if i were you, i'll hold the guards back, you get him out."

Azure walked down the hallway, he could hear hurried footsteps, they knew the prisoners were being released, Azure held his hands apart and watched as flames burst to life around his fore arms.

"come if you dare."

two guards rounded a corner and were met by Azure who swiftly grabbed each by the neck and lifted them off the ground, the force of the hold made both guards drop their guns, they desperatly tried to grab at the burning claws around their necks, one guard stopped struggling and Azure released his burning corpse to the floor, the flames engulfed the remaining guard and he also stopped struggling, as he died three more guards rounded the corner, upon seeing the corpses they opened fire, most of the bullets hit the burning body of the second guard, three of them plunged into Azure's side, Azure winced slightly and threw the corpse at the guards, knocking two of them down, the third stopped for a moment to look at his comrades, this was a mistake as when he turned back Azure had closed the gap and ripped into his face, carving four holes into the mans skull.

"never turn your back on your enemy."

Azure walked over to the other two guards who were desperatly trying to put out the flames which had spread to them, he picked up their discarded weapons and watched the guards struggle for a moment before using each gun to shoot them, he dropped both weapons and turned, waiting for more to come.

With a powerful swing of his gunblade, Burst managed to cleave through the restraints that were holding the Draugr. It had mentioned the word 'Blackjacks', the name of the organization that his brother had joined to resist the U.N.

"I would assume it is the very same, Draugr." Burst addressed it. "My brother fought and died for the Blackjacks, and now I take his place to avenge his death. Come now, let us leave this miserable place, and quickly."
