Azure approached Justin

"Don't let your memories cloud your mind, if you need to let something out, there are those of us who will listen."

having said his peice he quietly walked away, heading for his room, already in thought, he enterred his room, locking the door behind him Azure went and cross legged on his bed and closed his eyes, reflecting upon the new people and the current state of things, he did not need to sleep again for another 35 hours.

for the record my keyboard died, will have new one on 6th but for now must put up with on-screen keyboard

"There are those of us who will listen."

Justin knew he couldn't give details, not yet, but he had to talk to someone about this, and he figured the one called Azure was his best bet. Fixing his sling to hold his rifle across his back instead of at his side, he went to Azure's door and knocked three times.

"Hey, it's Justin. Can I talk to you for a bit?" he said, sorting out what he would and wouldn't say.

Michael noticed the strange bond between Anthony and Eryn. More like a friendship than a pact of teamwork merely.
Love, maybe?
Michael shook the thought away and decided it must've been respect and, love... the type of love you show to your mother and father.
Father..
A teardrop ran down Michael's chin, but what little fur he had on his face covered it nicely.

With a clear of his throat, he left the room.
Now what?
He thought to himself. The thought of sleeping did cross his mind, but he wasn't wary, and his brain was too active.

Instead, he stalked the corridors, shooting his gaze at his new comrades, trying to figure out their abilities and their means. He didn't like the fact that he was useless in combat either.
Something I'll surely have to bring up with Anthony...

"Assassinations?" Vasilli smiles, standing up straight, "I like it."

He salutes lightly before leaving the room, I wonder how this will go...I don't think they will let us just walk up to the targets and kill them without wonder... he thinks to himself nearing his room.

Azure got up and walked across the room, he unlocked the door and opened it.

"come in"

he walked back into the room, gesturing to a couple of chairs and a table in the corner and sat down.

"first off i want you to understand that no matter what you tell me now i will not judge you, now, go ahead, say whatever's on your mind."

Eryn sat in her chair, watching the other Mythos as they left the room. She already knew what Anthony was going to tell her. Or she had an idea, at least.

She felt like she was back in school again, waiting for the principle to call her into his office to suspend her for fighting with someone else.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Eryn, I broke you out because you were one of the best there was, the strongest there was and you're someone I owed a great debt to break out," Anthony walked up to, "But I see an anger that threatens us all unless you get it under control, this mission is about stealth and tact and I can already tell that's going to be a problem for you."

Justin took his rifle off of his back, leaned it against the wall behind his chair, and sat down opposite of Azure. Sighing, he relaxed his body and looked up at Azure.

"I used to work at one of those 'detention camps' the government contracts out to certain companies," he began. "Only, 'torture camp' would be more accurate. Guards interrogated every prisoner, abused them. The females that had an attractive human form... yeah. I didn't do that stuff, I signed on as a combat medic after I finished their training. So, no interrogations for me, I just did patrols. The others were rough on the Mythos we had, and I just had to keep them from dying, keep them barely alive."

"There was this one vampire, she was kept in solitary confinement. Not because she was overly dangerous, but the complete opposite; she stopped giving them trouble after the first time a guard used her in the interrogation room. I don't know if she was really broken or just pretended to be, but she played it well." Justin rubbed his left arm before he continued. "I'd take a needle and get some blood out of my arm every time I went by, or if I didn't have one I'd just cut with my knife. I figured eventually she'd get a chance to get out, and I'd help at least one of them get away from the real monsters."

"One night, some Mythos attacked the camp, so I rushed to solitary to make sure she got out. I took a round to the leg but we made it into the woods, where I patched it up." He stopped as he thought about that night, picturing her standing over him in the moonlight, as he was the helpless one. "She pointed in one direction, and ran in another, so I made my way to a Mythos camp eventually. I told them how I got her out, left out a lot of details, and let them inspect everything I had. They decided I wasn't much of a threat to them, or a spy, so they let me in."

"I never knew her name, never heard her voice, but those eyes... I'll never forget them. They keep haunting me when I'm not fighting, and I see her every now and then when I blink. I just want to find her, but I know you guys are more important, because this is where I am now. I gave up everything to help Mythos, and I'll give up what little I have left if it makes a difference. But if I survive, I have to find her."

Azure listened to justin, not saying a word, when he had finished Azure reflected on his story, a silence gripped the room for a few moments, then Azure stood up.

"well then, we'd better make sure you survive then eh? it's obvious to me you care for this person if you are haunted by her face, from what i would guess you have something to say but you are doubtful that you will be able to say it, which is something you shouldn't worry about, have confidence, you will survive this war and you will find the one you seek, if you are continually haunted by her face then think of it as a sign, a sign to endure through this war."

Azure wasn't sure if what he'd said had made sense to justin, or if it was in fact right, he had never had this kind of talk with anyone before.

"well, i hope that letting it out at least made you feel a bit better, i'd suggest getting some rest, i expect you'll need your strength for the next mission... in fact, here, take this." Azure picked up what looked like a amulet from a shelf behind him and placed it on the table, the amulet was in the shape of a silver dragon like beast holding a dark blue crystal, on the crystal were multiple red runes, the amulet was attached to a silver chain. "in our culture that amulet is said to clear the wearers mind of all negative thoughts and feelings, allowing him or her to act without mental conflict, to be honest i have no idea if it works, but then i haven't ever needed it, maybe it could be of use to you."

he walked towards the door, picking up his blade that was leaning against the wall in it's silver scabbard. "now if you'll excuse me, i have some more training to do, rest well."

with that, Azure left the room, leaving the door wide open and dissappearing round a corner at the end of the corridor, as he did the voice in his mind spoke.

tch, honestly Azure, you've gone soft, i'll have to fix that when the time comes

Rolf still wandered the corridors of the base, a welcome change of pace from not being able to move more than his neck and fingers. He soon found himself in a room filled with different training gear, targets, and a firing range.

'Probably the training facility...' He thought as his gaze flew over the different weapons and equipment, before it rested on the targets at the end of the firing range.
A human shaped silhouette had caught his attention, and as he looked on it further a single thought seemed to surface.

'Is this what it looked like?' He stood frozen in the empty room, just staring down the firing range as the time raced by.

Michael had zimmered the halls rendless, checking out most of everything and gazing at his comrades.

"Alright, enough... uselessness in combat is something I will not have"
Michael said to himself as he wandered the hallways. And just as a sign of good faith, he stumbled upon a training facility sociated room.

Now this is something that could surely help me better myself
He stepped into the room and noticed Rolf, one of the teammembers had already found this facility.

"Hey there!"
Michael started, waving his hand and picking off his hat.
"You wouldn't know anything about these ... things, would you?"
He said, laying down his fedora and examining an M4 Carbine assault rifle, equipped with an ACOG scope and a lazer pointer, along with a grip on the barrel.

"This shoots it doesn't it?"
He said after not getting a response, as he slowly pulled the trigger, making a sudden 'click' sound.

Rolf returned to his surroundings as the familiar sound of an empty weapon sounded behind him. He turned around observing the yeti-like mythos that was examining a weapon a few feet away from him, if he recalled correctly his name was...

"Michael... Why are you not sleeping?..."

Michael smiled and lay down the weapon.
"I didn't feel like it.. my brain is too active at the moment. Anyway, I'm not going to live for much longer I reckon if I cannot operate a simple weapon!"

He smiled and picked up a nearby magazine that looked like it could fit into the rifle, and it being on the same table convinced him.
But as he tried to jam it into the gun, it wouldn't fit.
"Dang it!"
Michael was getting wary and irritated, and ended up smashing the magazine into the rifle, ruining both items.

"I.. I think I broke it. I'm sorry"
Beneath the black and crimson red facial hair, his eyes resembled that of a puppy begging for food. He was indeed sorry for breaking the instrument.

Rolf shot a glance down at the end of the range again, and stayed silent for a minute or two before turning and approaching Michael. He picked up two rifles, these were particularly older, outdated G3 models, not that he knew that.

He threw one of the rifles at him and procured a set of three magazines from the ammunition locker, placing two of them at two different slots in the range and giving the last to the yeti.

"I do not know to much... But you cannot fit a sword into a daggers scabbard..." Was his reply to the ruined weapon, at the same time he followed the drill he had gotten accustomed to seeing the UN soldiers preform, front down the range, magazine in, bolt cocked back, weapon ready.

"Learn by observing... And doing..."

Michael stuffed the magazine in and cocked the bolt back.
"Alright, and then aim and fire right?"

Rolf showed him his weapon, his thumb on a switch which had three different settings, safe, single, auto.

"Set it to the middle one... The first will not fire... the third will be difficult..."

He pointed the weapon up the range again, and aligned the sights, firing three rounds, with less than accurate results, but rather good considering that he had only used a weapon like this in combat once before.

Michael, scared of damaging the weapon with his thick sausage fingers, slowly flicked the switch and took aim.
As he grabbed hold of the weapon, he pulled the trigger.
But there wasn't one bullet that exited the chamber. No. There came a hail of bullets, all exiting the chamber at maximum speed.

Michael's eyes were gazing at the target, as he realized that all the bullets hit the target with a proximity of one inch.

"Waow"
He said to himself in disbelief. How could he control the recoil of the gun so well?
That's what he was thinking about. He finally stared down at the switch he had flicked, and noticed he had accidentally swung it to Auto instead of Single.

But then, something else. There was something on the barrel of the gun.
As Michael examined it closer, it became clear to him that in all the excitement, he had dug his fingers a little into the metal, holding the gun extremely steady while firing.
But regretfully, it had made a permanent mark on the barrel.

"I... I think I broke it again"

You wouldn't mind controlling my character for a few days? It would be super. If it becomes too much of a burden, you can kill him off. I'm not going to be back until late Sunday or early Monday... Reeeal sorry for the double-post by the way :S

"So I see..." Rolf replied to the slight dent in the barrel.

"You know how to fire... You just need a sturdy weapon... Look around in here... There might be one..." He ejected the magazine and the chambered bullet and put the rifle back.

"Or you could see if you can control your strength... Weapons these days do not require it as much as before..."

Michael wandered around the room, eyeing every weapon, until finally he picked up a cuztomized version of the M60.

"I think this one just might do the trick!"
Michael looked through the red dot sight and jammed the big box of ammo into the gun. Then he picked it up, slowly, gently.

A true masterpiece
He thought to himself.

After a few minutes and tries, shooting the gun and reloading, he had finally gotten the hold of it.
He had managed an impact proximity within 15 inches of eachother. That means that he could saw through a lamp post in seconds.

"Alright, I think I've found my weapon, I'll just be in my room getting what little sleep I can until the night is over"
Michael said, walking out of the room after laying down the smoking weapon.
