Compared to how much praise Mario Kart 64 gets, Diddy Kong Racing doesn't seem to get mentioned enough. To be honest I think that's a shame, as I preferred it to Mario Kart 64 if I'm honest.

I'd bring up Quest 64, but I doubt anyone would agree with me. And besides, I only considered it "good" as opposed to "very good."

Same with Flying Dragon.

Mystical Ninja starring Goemon. It had a brilliant story and killer gameplay.
I'm simultaneously disappointed and enthused that I was beaten to naming this. One of my favorite adventure games ever; great exploration, hilarious dialogue and story, and some of the most fun boss fights ever (I still pick it up now and again for the Impact fights).

Oh, good. So I wasn't the only one to like that game. My first N64 game, in fact.

Pokemon Stadium. Let me check my N64 games, I can see them from here.

OK, so there was Pokemon Stadium, That Star Wars: Episode 1 racer game and Diddy Kong Racing. I'm not sure if Donkey Kong 64, because that gets mentioned quite a bit. Oh and Mario Party.

True that, that game was amazing. I mean, even with the Invincibility cheat on (one of many I always used in that game), it was still great just because of the huge, sprawling levels. I especially love The River of Souls.

Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8 2nd Offence BEST CAR COMBAT GAMES EVER!
Fuckin agreed.
This 2 games bring me a lot of memories.

Excitebike 64 and 007 The World is not Enough deserve an honorable mention, too.

The Spider-Man game was pretty good.
Pokemon Snap! Is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Lot's of people loved Jet Force Gemini as well but I really didn't take to it.

Agreed.

The single player was better and a lot more balanced than Mario Kart, but the multiplayer battle modes weren't as fun as MK64's battle mode though.

Really? When I was a kid and that came out, that's all I remember hearing about for the longest time.

I didn't really like it all that much.

2 games come to mind conkers like the dude above said and sin and punishment. a japan only game but the cut-scenes are in English not Japanese for some reason.

My parents never really cared for the esrb so I ended up playing that when i was around 6. Although they wouldn't let me play Diablo 2 for some reason...
