Banjo-Kazooie, and Banjo-Tooie. I know maybe a lot of you guys may know it but a lot of people I know outside of here don't have a clue what it is.

Space Station: Silicon Valley was an absolutely excellent game and did not get the credit it deserved. It was truly like an indy game of its time. Though, adamje appears to have mentioned it before I could. Still, it is worthy of re-mention.

None. Why? Because Nintendo Magazine kept listing all of the game titles on the back of their issues for 4 fucking years. You can't say they weren't very well know when their advertising campaign saturated every other magazine imaginable.

My girlfriend found a Diddy Kong Racing ad in an old Victoria's Secret catalog. On reflection, that kinda makes sense as plenty of pubescent males who'd play N64 were jerking off to those catalogs anyway.

OP asked for not well known games, so why do I see Goldeneye and Pokemon listed here so many times...?

My recommendation is for either Body Harvest [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_Harvest]

From Wikipedia said:
Body Harvest is a video game for the Nintendo 64 video game console developed by DMA Design (later renamed Rockstar North after the highly successful Grand Theft Auto III). It was originally intended to be an N64 launch game but was delayed due to its original publisher, Nintendo's issues with the game's adult theme, and eventual dropping of the title, leaving DMA to find a new publisher. It was eventually published by Gremlin Graphics in October 1998. In Body Harvest, players assume the role of a genetically engineered soldier, Adam Drake, who must investigate and eliminate an alien attack force who possesses the ability to travel through time. Possessing this technology himself, Drake must battle in five areas over a 100-year period that covers World War I-era Greece, World War II-era Java, United States in the 1960s, Siberia in the 1990s, and the near future. The game is non-linear, players can go anywhere and do anything according to game's boundaries.
OR for Space Station Silicon Valley [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_station_silicon_valley] (from the same developer)

From Wikipedia said:
Space Station Silicon Valley is a platform game released in October 1998 by Scottish developer DMA Design (now known as Rockstar North, creator of the Grand Theft Auto series). It was initially released for the Nintendo 64, and later in a version for the Game Boy Color. Several glitches were present within the game, but this did not prevent it from attaining considerable critical acclaim.[1] It was ported in the Summer of 2000 in Europe to the PlayStation under the title of Evo's Space Adventures.
I had an absolute blast with both of these games at their time of release, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for unique and interesting N64 games.

Was there a game called something something Gemini? Because I TOTALLY loved that game in spite of it's horrendous controls (or my total inability at the time to use a controller stick).
I played it recently I used to love it back then but the controller does suck and I can-t stand it anymore.

Jet force Gemini, bought it again for the retro kick and the control are tricky...
But it has a dog with booster paws, so any flaws are easily forgiven

Dude, come on. With the possible exception of Body Harvest, everyone's heard of those.
