La Grange Theorem. Me and my buddy wanna start a band with this as the name but neither of us have musical talent and it's more of a joke.

I always loved coming up with crazy names for bands. You can really think of anything.

I've always liked this one for an album: "Crossing the Bridges We Come To"

Band names, though? You can really think of anything, especially with alt rock. But you got to think of what you want. Do you want a somewhat silly name that will most likely help you be remembered (Office Gigolos or the Plaid Vikings, for example) or something serious and cool (can't think of anything at the moment) or something nerdy (The Servants of Cthulhu)?

Scrooge McFuckduck and the Goddamn Batmans. I know if I had a band, I'd call it that. Then again, I have a weird sense of humor.
I laughed pretty goddamn hard at that I'd join that band in a heartbeat.

OT: Something like Static Waves or something like that just throw random words together until you come across a pair that sounds good. Thats how I come up with bands names or you just take something mundane like stickers add the to it and BAM! band name The Stickers. Although I don't think that would fit the sound of your band at all. You can't let the name do all the talking for you either because once it gets down to it its really all about the music. You could call your band something ridiculous, but if I liked the songs you were putting out I could care less what you guys were called.

Something not overly complex or that comes off as really pretentious. One word would probably be best, so it's more memorable I suppose.
No deliberate mispellings, no fucking way man, and if you choose to make up a word for the bandname at least make it possible to say.

If I had to name a band tomorrow I'd call it either Xenith (which is probably a bit much) or Green.
