Watched Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle and laughed all night. Battle Royal is good too if you like watching teenagers kill each other ala Condemned but with an even more insane script. Fanboys is good for giggles and my all time favorite movie is Dark Knight, got it permanently on my laptop for my viewing pleasure.

Brick, Donnie Darko, A Scanner Darkly, Idiocracy, Monty Python's The meaning of life, Monty Python's the life of Brian, Training Day, and um, well that's it. Oh wait, Get Smart, and um, that's it.

This isn't comedy or action, but it's still a fascinating movie: "What The Bleep do we know?". 1408 is also good.

Oh yeah and Hot Fuzz. And 1984.

I'm not really listing all action and Comedy movies I'm just listing all the movies you have to see before you die. And I've seen all of them.

Well only Brick and Donnie Darko are the ones you have to see before you die. Everything else is highly recommended though.

OH WIAT, and Cloverfield.

Der Untergang (The Downfall):
Not an action movie so much as a documentary on Hitler after he lost his marbles for all to see.

Independence Day:
It is like a Micheal Bay film with a decent plot and without the OCD mixed liberally with juvenile humor.

This is my favourite thread, I?ll suggest a bit off beat movies.

Turtles Can Fly ?Set after the fall of Saddam in a Kurdish refugee camp about the lives of children, it Intends to let the world know of Kurdish people suffering.

Takva (A Man?s Fear of God)- Absorbing story of a pious man who loses his mind over the pragmatic power games of an Islamic fraternity he adheres to.

Kung-Pow: Enter the Fist (if you're in the mood for random comedy, it can't be beat!).
Holy crap, I forgot about Kung-Pow. Me and my friend have seen that movie at least 10 times, never gets old. "From now on, I will be known as...Betty." gets me every time. Also, I just watched Wall-E which I have to say was awesome. Starts kinda slow but is probably one of - if not the - best animated movie I have seen.

In Bruges.
It was freaken brilliant. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll see some pretty bloody violence. And when I say "pretty bloody" I mean VERY bloody. I might classify it as "artsy" but you'll need someone else's opinions on that.
Over all, very good but also intense (emotionally and violently).

Public Enemies was really good.

Travolta and Denzel gave stellar perfomances in Pelham 123.

Smokin' Aces is awesome (its got Ryan Reynolds, how could it not be awesome?).

Army of Darkness is pure win.

Saving Private Ryan is almost unreal how good it is.

Braveheart. So amazing I dont even have to explain it.

All of the Lord of the Rings are AmAzInG.

I reccomend Grosse Point Blank. Its a dark comedy, but its got alot of action sequences in it too, tied with a mushy yet not to in your face romance story.

First rule of fight club, don't talk about Fight Club.
You've broken the first and second rule of Fight Club. You DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB.

I'll say V for Vendetta.
HA so did you, you talked about Figh....ah no no no you're not getting me again ;P

PS: The Die Hard movies are funy too especialy the third one with Sam Jackson
PSS: Oh and of course Pineapple Express and Superbad...well everything with Seth ROgen actually..even if it's a minor role like in Fanboys....well that one would've been funy without him aswell
